More NFL records for Dak

To be fair, Stafford was throwing while getting chased and on the run and around multiple DBs, while Dak was throwing to Dez isolated 1 on 1 or TWill running drag screens over the middle while the whole Detroit defense wars stacking the box to stop Zeke..
Cool, huh?

Franchise QB in the bottom of the 4th round. Seamless transition from our last franchise QB, who we signed as an undrafted free agent.

Unbelievably good fortune.

Some of that, but the Cowboys collect talent by the same rules everyone else does. At some point you have to say Jerry and Co. are good at what they do. If Pete Carroll or Bill Belichik or Ozzie Newsome or Mike Tomlin or just about anybody outside Dallas had drafted Elliot, Collins, Prescott and Brown, we'd never hear the end of their magnificence.

dallas won 2nd half 21-0 that is impressive, the defense did a complete turnaround after allowing
21 in 1st half.
Dallas O scoring another 21 in 2nd half was fun to watch, and I liked the dez TD pass. that all fooled me and detroit ! It worked like
it was drawn up.

So this is a game that will be fun to rewatch.

Are we still saying Dez can't get open or what?

Dez wasn't really open, but he's always open.

That back shoulder TD was a thing of beauty. I watched the preseason games again last week and Dak was money on that throw over and over again, so I wondered why he hasn't made it with any consistency in the regular season. Maybe Dak was watching the same stuff and wondered the same thing, because that throw was just awesome.

Both QB's teams were great at the skill positions, Dak has the superior OL, Warner had the better defense. Warner went undrafted, but was 5 years older than Dak, and had already been through three NFL training camps.

Did Warner play with Faulk from the beggining?

Another record for Dak:

"It was Prescott’s ninth game of the season completing 70.0 percent-or-better of his passes to extend his NFL rookie quarterback record and break a tie with Troy Aikman (8 – 1993) and Tony Romo (8 – 2012) for the most by a Cowboys quarterback in team history while tying the fourth-most games by any NFL quarterback in history."
