Shocked, awed and a bit worried

Atlanta or Seattle will be a far bigger challenge than the Packers. The NFC 1 seed Cowboys have a tougher path to the SB than do the AFC 1 seed Patriots... I wish we were playing the Texans next week.

Green Bay is good and dangerous on a hot streak, but also remember that the Giants O struggled going into that game and our O is better.

Our strenght is our offense, so I would think playing GB would be better for us.

As for GB beating the Giants, if the Giants get up 14-0, they might of won that game, yes defense win championships, but you do need help from the offense, and NY controled most of that first half, but just could not score.

As for us, we have a better D, better O-line, better running game, capable recievers and 2 pretty good QB's. So we match up well against GB, should be a good game, one we should win...lets not forget, this is not the same Cowboy team GB faced earlier in the season, we now have a healthy Dez and Scandric and a defensive line that is playing so much better, plus a healthy secondary now with depth, and DMF adds another weapon and over the last couple games Williams and Dunbar have become more consistent, they've worked Brice Butler into some plays, and maybe depth on the O-line with Collins coming back.

I would think for GB to beat us Rogers will have to play an unbelievable game...

And at this time of year, having that extra week should be tremendously useful, however, I would be disappointed if they did not have Zeke carry the ball upwards 25-30 carries, I am assuming thats why he was essentially given 1 1/4 game off plus the bye, so he should be fresh...and used to a few weeks between games...

So let's hope Zeke carries this team similar as to how he carried OSU to a national championship...

Yeah, Zeke had 12 carries and 1 reception against the Lions and has now had two weeks off. I'd love to see him get 30 touches in each of these next few games.

Can we create a single thread for all the nervous nelly cowboy fans so we don't ruin the experience for those who have faith in this team.
That was meant to hurt me, right?
You have succeeded. I hope you feel better. Me mum, she just shock her grey head and muttered, *onofa*****.

Go have a cup of tea and a crumpet, you'll be fine.
Overrated.
Stout countrymen, like you, drink coffee and donuts.
I sense anger. Spill. What did the saleslady say that dashed your dreams?
You are among friends, some creepy, who will pull for you.
Tell us.

There's a reason why everyone saw Elliott sitting on the sidelines in Philadelphia. Prepared thyself for awesomesome.

You are so ... so ... JAYLON!!!!
Take a bow, Eaton.

Green Bay is the hottest team in the NFL.
THE WAY THEY MANHANDLED A TEAM THAT TWICE BEAT US IS WORRISOME.
Zeke is going to have to run all day for us to beat GB.
Any dissenting, naive opinions?
Yea, beat us by a total of 4 points in two games....total beatdowns for sure....when you guys post about us being "worried" or "scared" about such and such is weak....they should be worried about the Cowboys who were 13-3 and cruising with a couple of rookies tearing up the league all season long.....we're not exactly a pushover here

I think the racist uneducated black guy shtick was better. Although that sucked as well.
This schtick is taking the piss.

I keep hearing how beat up their secondary has been. GB's secondary looks pretty good, old fellow.
During that first half the Giants WR's were getting wide open and just dropping passes. They were best when they had a cover 2 look. But good luck trying to defend our running game in a cover 2 look with 7 in the box

The question is, are they going to get enough possessions versus our D to keep up? When you have a FB and your #3 WR taking handoffs are you going to set yourself up with third and short? I feel they are going to crash, without a strong secondary, a fumble prone TE, and without their Lambeau advantage they will crumble under our running game. If they stack the box, Dez and Butler can both beat their smallish corners over the top and Beasley out of the slot.

Where we may struggle is obviously our pass rush on D, or getting too fancy and beating ourselves on O. If Irving shows up, Collins and Mayowa better than the first meeting, this may be over in the 3rd. Match up to watch, Cook vs Byron. Cook is not a strong route runner and rounds off routes and fumbles, a lot. That's why the Titans and Rams dumped him, hoping Byron forces a TO early to show everyone that Rodgers poo stinks just like everyone else.

Not shocked, not awed and not worried.

We're going to run all over them like the Stealers did to Miami.

Real smash mouth football.

Yup.

We will limit Rodgers opportunities.
We will lay some real wood on any GB player that has the ball.

No, they are a good team. We are a good team. We just cant beat ourself.

Yup. Green Bay's an outstanding football team, but so are we and I believe we can beat them. Establish the run, grind it out, win time of possession, win the turnover war, and we will win.

Why don't we just play with 11 DB's against that baddddmaaannn.

Contain Rogers, whether this means controlling TOP, or just playing good defense, and the Boys win. The team with a rookie QB can't afford to get into a shootout with Rogers.
