I'm glad they did. Haven't heard much about Gathers but there was a report where they say Dak and Jones are best friends.

Good. Gathers is definitely in the plans to compete for a roster spot next year. I really liked how they used him this year on the practice squad. He got a full year without any press to learn how to be a football player. Time will tell if he ever turns into a player, but I am in favor of gambling on high upside.

I am glad Jones is sticking around as well. He had a good start to camp and has the measurables. Dallas should have some openings at WR. There will be players brought in but Jones should at least have a shot to win a roster spot.

Most of the other guys are just camp bodies that was announced yesterday but Gathers and Jones are the most interesting names by far imo.

I think he has a better shot this year than last, but it depends on what we do in FA. With T WIlliams and/or Brice Butler possibly leaving and Lucky Whitehead's luck starting to run out, That position has room for some battles in TC.

At TE, Hanna and Pablo will probably both be gone, so there's room for Gathers.

Me too. Those were the two I most hoped would get done. I think that Gathers in particular can help this team next year. And Jones showing something would be a nice bonus as I think this team only has three good wide receivers with one of those half way out the door (Williams).

Yes! Many bring up his bone headed plays but his big plays far outweigh the negative.
