Atl may have been 6-10 but they had been drafting extremely well (on both sides of the ball) and Quinn entered a situation where culture and coaching could turn Atl around quickly.

OTOH, Garrett still has massive holes on his team.

When JG took the team over, our roster was a good one as well. We had a top 5 QB, Dez, Lee, and Ware who was the best pass rusher at the time.

It wasn't like JG had a Browns roster when he became the HC.

You didn't mention anything about offense. I responded to your comment about defense with a comment about defense.

The reality is it's a week to week thing in the NFL. Atlanta and Green Bay played earlier and it was 33-32. Dallas beat Green Bay by 14 the first time. It's all about showing up in the playoffs. The Cowboys showed up about an hour too late last week.

Your offense can impact how your defense plays. If you can jump on an opponent and get them behind by a couple of scores or more that helps your defense because the opponent has to press to come back. Atlanta's defense has played better in the playoffs because they're playing with big leads due to their explosive high scoring offense.

Don't bother arguing with the anti-Garrett people. I don't necessarily disagree with them all of the time, but the amount of noise in the game thread from them is obnoxious.

Oh I'm not anti anybody but somebody on the staff should be held accountable for the offsides/12 men on the field stuff. Amateur nonsense.
