Looking forward to the ProBowl

The QBs for the AFC were Andy Dalton, Alex Smith and Phillip Rivers and people still take the Pro Bowl seriously?

They were replacements for Brady, Roethlisberger and Carr.

I know. It's just funny how the Pro Bowl almost ends up being 7th and 8th options instead of 1st and 2nd. I understand Brady's and Carr's reasons for not playing, but let's not pretend that most players decline the Pro Bowl even if they don't have a valid excuse. I always don't see how the 3 guys who made it would be put in ahead of Luck.

Players love the honor of being selected to the Pro Bowl but a lot of players don't like playing in the game. If they don't want to play in the game they just come up with an injury excuse. Dan Marino got named to a number of Pro Bowls but only played in one or two of the games. As for Luck he may have been asked to be a replacement but didn't want to go.

ive always wondered if players talk about playing together? like dez/zeke/dak pitching the idea to a friend. i know it takes more than a player wanting someone. but ive always wondered if that convo comes up

Didn't watch the game (got a life), went to see Rogue One with my brother..................excellent movie!!!

I see Garrett lost again........LOL.........Didn't he lose the Senior Bowl as well last year?

cant win playoff games, cant win Senior Bowl, cant win ProBowl...................dam, that is just sad.

I think that's it in a nutshell. Dalton and Smith got to the playoffs, they were naturally going to get invites and accepted. The third qb? Who's left?

I recorded the game and just skimmed through it. About the only positive from it is a noticeable reduction in commercials. Let's try that next season NFL

Dalton led Cincinnati to a 6-10 record this season. When players that get voted in start dropping out with excuses they have to fill out the roster with those who want to go.

Agreed, Luck went 8-8 and missed the playoffs. My playoff comment was based on the year before. I guess flip a coin. Phillip Rivers was 4-12 this year and was voted in over Luck. Or luck simply declined. IDK.

I get it. I just think it takes away some of the meaning when the 8th best player at his position makes the Pro Bowl. Also, does Luck get credit for declining a Pro Bowl offer? If not, it makes it meaningless when Andy Dalton has more Pro Bowl appearances than Luck, or Brady for that matter (who's usually never eligible for the Pro Bowl since he's likely playing in the Super Bowl).

Throw was high and behind him.

Yes, he should have caught it.
Hey man I upgraded your sig.
