So I finally bit the bullet and decided this is the year I make the trip to Dallas for a game. However, I am curious what you more experienced live game viewers think I should do on game day before the game? also curious about parking, what should I do for that (I don't mind walking a distance if required)?

As for accommodations I'll be staying in the Addison area as I'm very familiar with this area and have spent a lot of time there in the past and love it.

For the game I'll be in section 103, row 9. I'm still debating about sticking around for the Thanksgiving game, but the excitement today has been unreal, I haven't been this excited for a long time!!

You can park about a mile away at a strip mall for free. I think it's on Conner or Cooper or whatever the street is called. West of the stadium.

Why would you stay in Addison if you're going to a game in Arlington?

Any recommendations on what to do pre game? Tailgate?

The West side of the stadium, they have stuff going on, if they still do. Bands and cheaper beer and food. Like a tailgate party. Can't remember how long before the game starts, it is open. Maybe 4 hours. at least 2 hours.

My limo driver parks at the strip mall a mile away and watched the game from there. My kids are always highly impressed with being dropped of and picked up right at the front of the stadium. That's the only way to travel with the family to the game, IMO. Also makes the two and a half hour drive back to Abilene less monotonous.

I like that drive. There are actually hills and my favorite; trains to look at.
