The Saints are fumbling around at this point. Makes no real logical sense...but the move was on the cheap and probably designed to give Drew some more options.

AD won't have to play against 8-9 man fronts there.

The Falcons shouldn't like this move. Saints are just trying to make a last push for Brees.

I like this signing for the saints. Low risk and a ton of upside.

I also like this signing as a football fan. I want to see what AP has left in the tank. AP is an all-time great. If you have 1 year to win a superbowl and you can have any RB in history in their prime AP would not be a bad choice.

Man, I would take Peterson on 3 million dollar deal. Worth the gamble IMO at the price. It's too bad we never got to see AP on a decent team with a half decent QB. That would of been fascinating to watch although he still did quite well his career playing against a stacked box.

No doubt Favre was the best QB Adrian Peterson ever played with, but I mean Favre was like 39 years old playing with Peterson. I am saying more along the lines of, can you imagine his career with a steady QB that was half decent like a 39 year old Brett Favre.
