Word here in NY is that the reason that both NE and KC jumped the Giants is that they were all set to take Garcia, and then Hunt, in that order. While Reese would certainly like to take some OL, the value just hasn't made sense when they have picked, especially in this OL-thin year. So they took the QB, which represented a better value proposition, rather than to reach for the other OL who are more appropriately take in the 4th and 5th rounds.

Yeah one of my buddies is a huge Giants fans and he was ticked they didn't take any last season. That does seem like their Achilles heel.

I disagree with you on this. I have been told by some posters on this board the best qb to ever be drafted was picked last year with the 2nd pick in the first round. The team gave up a lot though.
