Cowboys’ Jourdan Lewis faced previous domestic violence accusation

If the law prosecuted women to the full extent of the law for false claims, this nonsense will be greatly reduced.

And the number of women legitimately coming forward after being abused would also be greatly reduced. But I assume that's not your concern as you seem to have a default judgment that the woman must be lying

She was going for $s?

Use your brain here. Calling 911 on him deflated his draft stock and will cost him likely around two million dollars (assuming he'd have gone roughly a round higher). How is that some sort of shakedown?
when you are stupid?

and you just believe all are telling the truth which is also wrong.

Equal treatment under the law should mean liars trying to destroy a person's life should get the same as those that beat women.

I don't do default judgements but obviously you do. If a woman is guilty of falsely claiming someone has done them harm in anyway, she should be prosecuted. She does damage to the cause of women that are actually harm. You don't have to be a genius to figure that out. Her story lacks any evidence yet you are willing to give her the benefit of doubt. That says a lot more about you than it does about me.

She must have been pretty smart to foresee back in 2015 that he would eventually rise up the depth chart and be drafted
was talking about the recent one. But she still seems to be pretty stupid since she made claims that had no physical proof.

I'm not going to condemn Lewis or the girl. And I'm not trying to make this another debate about domestic violence. I will simply say this:

If these claims are legitimate, then Lewis won't be long for the NFL. Domestic violence - unless there's a Paul on the road to Damascus conversion or counseling - really never cures itself. And if Lewis gets into any intimate relationship with a woman and if he has an anger problem, this situation will resurface.

If he is innocent of these charges, then he needs to watch how he relates to women, or more importantly, pay attention during the NFL Rookie Symposium when players talk about the groupies and gold diggers that flock around players and teams.

Players can't be too careful now days, and, yes, there are women who will target you simply because you play in the NFL and make millions.

throwing pillows, the horror!

Well, did her cooking get better?

i dont know whether it improved after buying a meat grinder or did she started roasting turkey more often.
either way, hopefully he has learned enough to keep his distance from certain ladies.

shout out to zeke - hope you are paying attention.

Whether he did it or not, you have to question the judgement of both parties: either 1) him for abusing women and her for sticking around with an abuser, or 2) her for making up stories and him for sticking around with a psychopath. I'm not one to jump to conclusions about a single event I know nothing about, but I have no problem judging someone who chooses to remain in an unstable environment.

Thats why 2 years ago she called 911 that he was hitting her and physically abusive?

other than the alleged grabbing by the throat, these 2 incidences are a waste of taxpayer money.
regarding the grabbing by the throat, there was no marks on her neck.
by these reports, the lady physically abused him far more than the other way around.
she even admitted to striking him.
they were both stupid.
pay the blackmail $ and move on.
these are the type of cases that undercut the legitimacy of real DV which is indeed horrible.
she sounds litigious and is well acquainted with how to utilize her female gender to her advantage.

I always find it funny the reaction to these type of events with limited knowledge by fans. I generally prefer to wait until the information is out there to form an opinion.

It seems the board collectively decides in advance of that based on their hopes for the player.

Pretty much true.

All I hope is that the Cowboys did their due diligence on this one.
