From the TMZ report, "We're also told there were off-duty DPD police officers working at Clutch late Sunday night but none of those officers filed a report detailing a bar fight or mentioning an incident with Ezekiel."

You'd think that ODPO at the scene would know something about an incident. Could be a lot of smoke. Hopefully that is all it is.
I'm not saying that Zeke did nothing...but based on all the reports (and every media outlet has one), this is the only one that mentions anything specific to Zeke. I will cool my jets on getting pissed over this until I see something more reliable and definitive.

Cool story

It's not about morality of posters or whatever lame excuse you want to come up with for Elliott. If he did hit the guy or was in a bad situation that led to a fight, that's on him. He's a NFL player now, and with that comes $$$ but also added responsibilities and expectations. He can't go out and continue to party like it's college and put himself in bad situations.

How is that Tryon Smith doesn't get into these situations? Or Sean Lee? Or Byron Jones? Or Darren McFadden?

I bet its because those guys are smarter than Elliott and more mature and know that with their fame they know they have to steer clear of situations like this. Hopefully, Elliott will learn that lesson soon enough.

Zeke should have kept walking. Clutch is only 3 stars. KungFu Saloon fits his personality better and is 3.6 stars

I'll take it one step further. Zeke is demonstrating the signs of a truly addictive personality, and that's bad news. It usually manifests itself into alcohol, drugs, gambling, women, porn, or even religion. Addictive personalities can't do anything in moderation, and in a day of camera phones, that's not encouraging at all.

I'm more disappointed in the fact he thought it was a good idea to go out to a bar this weekend considering the size of the target on his back right now. I mean, you can't just lay low for a week and wait out the NFL's decision?

The kid refuses to understand that being a star in the NFL...just doesn't marry with a sorry choice of bars and clubbing.

He definitely isn't coming to camp focused upon football alone...and that is close to being a damaged goods. He already knows that he just has to walk through another round of excuses and get the benefit of redemption, yet again. He doesn't realize how much this will affect his on carpet play and team status. Even Michael learned that the white house was NOT the way to go while a Cowboy. He was free to re-embrace following play.

I hate a Bob Hayes type aftermath...a lot.

I'm still in shock, this is truly unbelievable. Please stop making excuses for him, he needs to grow up. I seriously doubt he's getting out of this with no repercussions and I can't get mad at the league (or whoever) if it does happen. He needs a reality check.

He needs to go one-on-one with Smith to set the locker room straight...

My excuse is lame because you fit it eh? Who said it wasn't on him? I don't see where I posted that so what are you talking about its on him like I don't know that?

I don't know them people maybe you do and you can ask them. Maybe they are smarter and more mature but the truth still is most people are jealous and looking for a reason to wag their finger at Zeke and others like him period. You're just too something negative to see I didn't co sign what he did or most of what any of these famous people do but also don't need to grandstand about it either. People don't really care about Zeke or these other folks they just want to wag their finger and to me that's corny. Disagree if you want that's life.

I know I've said this already but this is nauseating, truly. I just don't get it. Makes me wonder what he put in his response letter to the NFL. I'm not sure what those consist of but I assume he would try to portray himself as being a better person, making better decisions, etc and now this. That looks really really bad. I don't see how he's getting out of this.

Gronk is as big a partier as there is. But he never gets into trouble with the law.

Zeke is young, has money and likes to party. I get it. But there is a right way and a wrong way to enjoy yourself. And Zeke clearly doesn't get it.

With the way Zeke appears to be making himself vulnerable to suspension, the staff had better be well prepared with backups to spell him in the event he's out for a while. It's tough to see someone who is being counted on be so careless with his actions. Needless to say, his immaturity is gradually becoming more burdensome. Here's hoping charges aren't forthcoming but don't count on it. Evidently, he's dense and it's troubling. In view of the players actions this offseason, maybe it's time to put the RKG mantra to rest for a while.
