In an effort to let discussions get started more quickly on breaking news topics, we have enabled the ability for members to reply to topics in the Newsfeed Zone.

If we see threads in the Newsfeed Zone that seem to be trending in replies, we will likely move them to the Fan Zone for more exposure.

We are also considering adding the Newsfeed Zone forum to the New Posts list that many users use to read the latest posts on the site. For now though, we will not include it so to read and reply to threads in the Newsfeed Zone, you will need to visit that forum unless/until the threads are moved to the Fan Zone.
