What they should have done was taken this person's recommendation and no suspension for domestic violence and a one or 2 game suspension for St. Patrick's Day.
That would have been logical. Way more logical than this ish appears to beWhat they should have done was taken this person's recommendation and no suspension for domestic violence and a one or 2 game suspension for St. Patrick's Day.
So? That still invalidates the "Brady gives unlimited power to Goodell" angle.
No, she's just a moron.bad joke?
He was with her. There is a 3rd party that has said so. That 3rd party also testified he saw ZERO bruises while they were together. Zeke was not with her during the bar fight though. The NFL is hanging their hat on the metadata from the pictures because they say that proves Zeke was with her. The problem with that is metadata can easily be manipulated and very difficult to prove it was altered.
Agreed but that ship has sailed and now the suspension is based solely on an accusation of DV. Likewise, the appeal decision should be based on the ability of Elliott's defense to discredit those accusations alone. By mentioning the St Patrick's Day incident in the suspension letter sent to Elliott, without attributing it to the suspension itself, that incident is now unpunishable. What they should have done was taken this person's recommendation and no suspension for domestic violence and a one or 2 game suspension for St. Patrick's Day.
TWO Things....Hate of Cowboys and Mr Jones and Racism.....simple and plain....This "investigation" lasted a full year and the head investigator recommended no suspension. The NFL disregards this and then not only suspends the player but irresponsibly releases a bogus statement to justify their false "verdict". This statement goes a very long way in ruining a young man's reputation by labeling him one of the worst things a man can be called in society today.
If this information is true, you have to wonder the motivation of the NFL. What in the world are they doing?
The four member panel is a joke in itself. A former Commander, A Ex NJ AG ( Those guys are never corrupt), a victims advocate, and the moronic lip reader that screwed up the Saints investigation. The NFL is so blarently corrupt they don't even try to hide it.Best course for Henderson is to void the suspension and send the case back to NFL and order they apply set procedures in their investigation ..
This way they have a good reason why the suspension was removed, and thy please the public by saying "We are not done, we will review our investigation blah blah blah" .. only thing is they will be throwing the 4-people panel under the bus, which is ok since no one cares who they are

Zeke could sue the NFL for defamation of character and make billions. Now Jerry doesn't have to pay him the boatload of money he is going to command in his second contract. I trying to look at the positive and the silver lining beyond getting the suspension nullified.
Interesting point ,Mr.Cowboy.why go through the year long investigation if he can decide whatever he wants evidence be damned?
I thought I read somewhere that celebrities could not litigate for defamation.
They damage the brand far more than any playerMore virtue signaling by the NFL. They're more than willing to sacrifice a man's reputation to avoid damaging their own brand. Pandering and politics will be the downfall of this commissioner.
The best thing would be is Zeke receiving no suspension, and the 2nd best outcome is Goodell looking like the village idiot once again.

Not anyone in the NFL that actually spoke to herThe NBC version says it's simply a matter of the NFL choosing to believe the accuser more than Elliot.
Absolutely right.
Why is everything northeast, NY centric with the league? How can Goodell not understand how bad the optics are to have Lisa Friel, who is an admitted Giant fanatic in the position she holds. Fan, is short for fanatic and there is an obvious conflict of interest.
You mean to tell me there isn't a competent, professional Domestic Violence advocate west of the Mississippi? The good 'ole girl and boy network is still alive in the northeast and they fill the halls from NFL offices to ESPN's offices.
It's ridicules.
They damage the brand far more than any player
