Yep.. I don't blame him for not wanting to be apart of TC.

If I were both parties I would see where we are at a month or 2 from now and if he can improve the team then sign him.
Me too, just wish they would kick Crawford back inside and let Tapper and Taco split the reps and see if either is for real.

We aren't getting 2009 DWare back, and there's no Von Miller to pull attention on the other side. Even if Tank turns it on, he's not Von Miller, and DWare is even further from playing shape. DWare was also routinely accused of disappearing in big games, so why would we want an older/slower DWare back for big games he disappears in?

Great. Sign Romo, Barber and TO while we are at it and let's rock it like its 2007 again. Lets try not to be one and done in the playoffs this time if we can though.

From a team standpoint there is no negative to this. Use him on obvious passing downs and let him loose on QB's. At least he would be equivalent to what we have once he gets in shape come playoff time.

The risk here would be on DWare and his long term health. He's retired and made a lot of money. He can still walk so he should be thankful for that. But back injuries are not the ones you want to risk. He should stay away and be happy with the hall of fame career he had. Don't risk it DWare.

I'm sure Gregory would be persuaded to give up 94 to Ware for a certain herbal remedy.

I don't think he'll have much say...

He's not even allowed at the facilities? Not like he's even in the locker room to gripe at all

Gregory doesn't need #94 working at McDonalds. That is Wares # and always will be.

Gregory would quickly have to give up 94. It wouldn't even be a question for a second.

I'm all for this. At worst he can work with our young pass rushers and teach them a few things. He's the perfect leader for this young defense. There's no downside here at all.

I'd call him today. Why wait half the season or until the playoffs when we can potentially keep the line healthier that's one less third down or situation someone else has to put their body through. Plus when the playoffs come around he's going to be that big game veteran presence we need.

In limited action, I'm on board with it, he's at least as good as anyone else we have at the position now. Should be done soon, not later.

It is a move that Jerry hasn't been too aggressive with in the past, saying developing young guys, but he needs to call Ware....question is, will he cause I don't know if Ware would even have to say it in the media, he could just tell Jerry.

What is there to give up for Gregory? He is not even a Cowboy at the moment. He will be travelling to Denver and visiting the weed shops rather than worrying about a jersey.
