He has no idea where Dez will be due to horrible route running.

NFL QBs throw before the WR's break. If the WR does not do what the QB expects, then the QB looks inaccurate.

If Dez cuts at 45 degree angle when Dak expects 60 degree angle, then it Makes Dak look innaccurate.

Dak looks accurate to Witten and Beasley...
This is just a simply agenda-driven falsehood.

He knew where Dez was running the Green Bay playoff game, the Lions game, Tampa game, and Steelers game just fine. What is this a new offense they are running that we arent aware about?

Dez was largely a Romo creation.
I get starstruck by very few and the peeps that do, do it for me are kind of weird.
Frank Conniff and Joel Hogdson freaked me out, but George Clooney once bought me pizza while we were waiting on a ride and it was nothing.
Tony Romo would put me in a psychological place where I would feel the need to impress him and he wouldn't even need that. I wouldn't be able to help it, while knowing better.

If Dez isn't open....then that's on Dak to throw it to others. You can't blame Dez for being Dez. Anquan Boldin had a fine career despite not never being open. Possession receivers are tightly covered. Cowboys need to figure out ways to get the ball in his hands.

This was a team loss effort, everyone is to blame from Garret to the last dressed guy. Some had a better game than others, but this was a complete meltdown.

X, i respect your opinions but I cant agree with this.

Dak's accuracy has been erratic all season. And we cant use the "2nd year 4th round qb" excuse due to his stellar play. He cant get all the praise when things go great and be absolved of all blame when things go poorly. Even the head coach yesterday called him out and said he has to be better. Most of his throws to Dez this year havent even been close...

It's really amazing how Dez was a No. 1 receiver mentioned among the best in the league when Romo was at quarterback and now he can't run routes, can't get open, etc. I think it's definitely more of a Dak problem than a Dez problem and hopefully it gets fixed soon.

If I were Dak, I'd go back and watch film of what Romo and Dez were doing to connect. I don't think Dez has fallen off as much as Dak simply doesn't understand or trust how to use his talents.

I do want to add this, though: The league the past few years is allowing DBs to play much more physical instead of calling them for all of the illegal contact. The first couple of games, the DBs have been allowed to be very physical with Dez to the point where some of that contact should be called.

Good points across. I keep being reminded of the 2014 Arizona game when we didn't have Romo and they basically stacked and dominated our Oline. The passing game was absent due to Romo being out and it left Murray no chance. Fast forward to yesterday. The opposition feared our run and stacked the box, attacking gaps. They forced us to pass and we couldn't do so consistently and effectively enough.

Basically, if one element of our game is absent the other side of it needs to step up to force defenses into a honest scheme where they're concerned with both elements of our offense.

but Zeke needs to man up and decide how good of a player he wants to be........the talent is there but like so many before him his desire and maturity needs to catch up with his talent.

He's also a victim of "circumstance".....which a lot of us call our "peckers".... if anyone gets the movie reference, gold star...

I am responding to those who have said we had many recievers open at times but Dak failled to see them. Well just listened to Talking Cowboys, Broaddus was adamant that no reciever could get open. He kept stressing that.

The only thing worse than the game is the attemps by most to analyze it.

Everyone is being blamed but one of the worst offender rarely gets much blame and the other didn't get enough blame.

For instance, people saying La'el was terrible, have no clue. He shut down Miller for about 3 quarters until the Cowboys had to pass on every snap and Dak had to hold the ball longer trying to get back into the game.

The blame should all go to Dez and Zeke.

The Cowboys formula is to use a super running game to make it easier for a young QB to have succees and to help a very young defense.

Zeke looked distracted and possibly unmotivated. He also looked sluggish and possibly too heavy. Hopefully it was just the altitude.

Dez can't consistently get open. He is a QB-UNfriendly #1 WR. He runs out of bounds on many sideline routes and is the worst route runner of any #1 WR that I've seen. It is obvious when he does not expect to get the ball because he barely even runs on those plays. His run blocking is comical.

Fix those 2 issues and everyone gets better. That would reduce the amount of time the defense is on the field and drastically help Dak.

If they could magically replace Dez with Julio Jones or even Jordy Nelson, the Cowboys would be a completely different team.

Well I have faith that Zeke will turn it around, as he just did it last week. Dez is a lost cause! 17 million for a fade runner!! Lol

I see what your saying but the radius of blame goes well beyond those two.

I'm gonna go with Lightning Time Adjustments, or the lack thereof.. We literally had Two Halftimes, and nothing changed.. It starts at the top. You got Denver over stacking the box. We couldn't come up with a game plan to make them pay....

It will be interesting to see what others report after seeing the "22" footage.
