The Fire Garrett thread **merged**

It so funny to watch people flly off the handle. The same people that kept talking SB bowls and defensive turnarounds

"if everything goes well"..................any time you hear this dumb line, just assume that some laughable homer is completely unqualified to be in the discussion.

Im not up in arms about the season because anyone that understands football knows that there is no way this defense can have that much raw turnover and expect to be good.
This post confuses me, but then again, most of yours do anyways

Our coaches can’t adjust to adjustments. Ours might try to at halftime but they have little counter to theirs.

Garrett oversees his coordinators, so the blame falls on him. Want to stay off the hot seat Jason, fire Marinelli tomorrow. Otherwise, he needs to be the one who falls on the sword.

Garrett is a terrible gameday coach and we will never get a ring with him.

I have never thought Garrett was anything special as a coach, but unless "fire" means "fire and replace with someone who's given full authority to run the football side of things," I wouldn't get overly excited about it. Until or unless that happens, there will be just enough looseness permeating the organization and the sum will always be less than the parts.

Problem is, what good coach in there right mind would even consider playing for our idiot owner? Seriously, we are the most popular team in the world and we can't even attract big name free agents....you ever wonder why that is?

Jerry would rather scour the bargain bin for diamonds in the rough who come dirt cheap. As for coaching, Jerry doesn't want any coach to take his credit. A proven coach would get too much attention if we started winning.

It's disappointing. I'm really at the point of not knowing where to go with the team. Different players, more of the same. I'm not a huge Dak fan but he did a very good job today and played more than well enough to win the ball game. Some of the play calls were good but then some of them were abysmal...especially once it got to crunch time. I can't believe we willingly handed it back to the best QB in the league with 1:13 and a timeout left.

I think a new coach could be a breathe of fresh air. Sadly Romo wasted his career with Wade and then Garrett. I love Garrett's message and off field attitude but his game day process is horrible. Who is out there who would be a realistic option?

I get how this works, we all love Garrett on the even years and we all hate Garrett on the odd years. Let the record reflect that I have hated Garrett ALL the years

I hope every one know that I also have hated garrett ever since he was hired.

I knew going into the season that the defense would be bad at times. the coaching staff knows how young they are but continue to putting them in situations that they cannot succeed is what making me so angry after this loss. just awful coaching is what lost this game.

Yep..........And if you have common sense and you think the D will struggle, that makes you a bad fan. And certainly if you can see the obvious, that Garrett is a joke, you are a mean guy.

Its to the point where ANYONE that supports Garrett has to be an Eagles fan. No other way to say it. NO LOYAL Cowboys fan would watch this clap happy puppet and think we had a future.

I'm done with this trash coaching staff. How many times do we have to cycle out players before the coaches are held accountable

Garrett has been a dead man walking for like 4 seasons but he gets a reprieve every other year by teams that succeed in spite of his motivational (make everyday great) garbage. He is not a genius, he is a JAG HC. Certainly nothing special other than he has played for the team

When the Cowboys were n their glory years they always had a special/genius head-coach. Jerry is a failure for not recognizing that by now ...being older than the Crypt-Keeper and all....

Any other coach would've been fired after losing the division title in week 17 3 consecutive years. I dont know what it will take to can garrett now
Again, JG will NOT be fired. Consider it a combination of nepotism and Jerry Jones' ego.

The Rams coach, his contract can't be that long term, we got the money......oh wait it's Jerry..

All you have to do is answer this question:

If Garrett is fired, which teams are picking up the phone immediately to bring him in as a HC or OC?

I can’t even type that without laughing like crazy.

So true. Maybe as a position coach or something.
