Would you rather go 13-3 or get a new HC?

Would you rather go 13-3 again this season and know that you could be one and done in the playoffs again, or have another bad season and get a new HC and staff in the offseason?

I love winning more than anything, but I think I would rather take the new staff at this point. I'm ready for a change myself and think that would be more exciting then a 13-3 year. Pretty sad as I always want to win!

New HC. Even if we went 11-0 to finish the season, I have no faith that this defense could stop 3 good/great QBs in a row in the playoffs.

Might as well take our best bet of actually having a chance to get back in SB contention - and that's with firing the stooge.

Not to mention, JG getting fired means we likely ended with a top pick. A top pick and cap space could go a long way towards fixing this horrific, horrific defense.

Great trade off actually. Personally, knowing that this team isnt close to ready for true contender status, I would take a top 10 pick and Garrett finally getting axed.

Everything after that move means nothing. JJ wont get the right coach, scouting needs to be revamped, FO needs an overhaul. Someone needs to buy the state of the art flame thrower and go have the best time of their lives.

Under those circumstances that would be great. To go 10-0 with a tough schedule would mean this team is top notch. But I dont think that is exactly what he meant in the question. Its pretty clear this team isnt ready. And going one and done isnt appealing regardless.

winning in the regular season is just spinning your wheels unless it leads to winning SB's.

When he finds out that the coach was doing this like he did with Jimmy, we would have already won a couple SBs and could tolerate some misery for awhile again..

I'm just not sure he has significant input any longer. I think it's more McClay and Stephen now. When I listen to his weekly radio show and he barely knows some of the players names throws up a red flag for me. He will sometimes say that #27 or whatever. Very scary!!

Until the owners decide they just want a winning team, rather than wanting to be the "football guys" who built it, get used to what we've gotten for the last 20 years. Any coach they bring in will have to work with the players they ultimately decide to draft/sign because they haven't shown they're going to hire someone to make those decisions.

Garrett was never going to be in trouble before this season started because of the rebuild on defense.

Now if Zeke misses games, that will definitely keep him safe.

I'm neutral on Garrett. My position is that I've yet to see a complete roster since he has been HC. If they get close to a definite playoff contending type roster then I'll worry about the coaching.

They blew up the defense this year and replaced 2 starters on the OL. A slow start was almost guaranteed.

Letting Zeke come in out of shape was the biggest coaching fail. Everything else can be attributed to inexperience or lack of talent.
