Taught my son how to fight this weekend. He has slow hands so I can’t teach him to box, but I taught him grappling.

He gets good grades and has a small, but close circle. Not a popular kid, but has some really amazing friends.

So there’s these two punk arse kids in his PE that have been throwing shade at him. I tought him take downs and grappling. We broke one of my mirrors wrestling. He’s a straight A student, now, and I’ll be damned if some little punk messes with my son. My back and rear delts hurt today. We went hard and he was all about it.

I told his mom I was gonna pull a .38 on the parents of the two boys messing with our son, she got mad :)

We both agreed this would be better.

You should use a more controlled and structured sessions for of this type of education.

A martial arts class. They teach more than just how to pound on people. They teach you not only how to, but when to.

It's extremely important when teaching this type of discipline and the discipline on when to use it. Otherwise you could put his future at risk.

We did take downs and ground game.

This upcoming weekend I’m gonna teach him choke holds. Mainly rear choke holds.

My son is a sweat heart but has his daddy’s strength. He’s tough.

If any of you have seen pics of him you know he’s a sweetie. These turds feed on that. His last fight was in fourth grade and he busted a kid’s nose. He doesn’t like to talk about it because he’s so embarrassed by it.

But now, because I can’t whip the kids that are calling him names, and I can’t draw on their parents (if they even have parents), I’m teaching my son how to fight.

He’ll wreck them when we’re done. I already showed him how to let his weight fall to the opponents legs and that any punches that connect when he does so won’t matter when he has them down. I’m teaching him rib shots, knees to the kidneys, straddling, and defense. My little boy.

I know, Sam. If he was a bad kid, a trouble maker, I wouldn’t give him these lessons.

I know enough to teach him. We did Gracie Jiu Jitsu in the Army. Before we deployed our PT was an 8 week course. I can teach him. We had him in karate when I was still married (he was so adorable), but it was short-lived and not practical in real-world settings.

He’s a sweetheart and not a fighter. He will only use what I teach him if he has to.

Tell em to kick em in the nuts and then hit em over the head with a school tray. I don't know Karate, but I know K-r-a-z-y. :D Just messing Trouty, hope your son gets those bullies off his back.

This illustrates your point; not the girl, she's just BA.

USA Wrestling, my man. Teach them hard work, discipline, balance, coordination, courage, and the value of hard work. Can start them at any age, plus it's a bad-*** way to spend your winter weekends as they get older. It's cheap, and they have tournaments year-round. As they get older, you can transition to submission wrestling and BJJ. It's the best.
