What this judge basically is saying is...Yes Elliot you probably did get screwed, but your union basically agreed to these unfair situations you and your union members are facing. And thats basically 100% correct. Players got greedy and went for the money. And basically became hostage to unfair situations by a organization who is going to do what they want with your bodies and lives. You signed the CBA, so you made your bed and now you have to lay in it.

This is correct, you only have the NFLPA and players themselves to blame for being so weak minded.

Correct.

They are collectively, and I am sad to say, ignorant.

They are not intellectually capable of figuring out what is best for them.

And now they are wondering why the ownership views them as they do.

They don't command respect. They are not smart enough.

And they just re-elected Smith.

The same stooge who fell over in the last CBA.

No one was really clamoring for a Zeke suspension beyond nfc East rival fans. No one was expecting a suspension either, especially with how weak the proof was. Not like there was a video that everyone saw like the Ray Rice case

I don’t think that your average fan is looking that hard. Most of the media were trashing Zeke when this all came out.

So as a friend of mine who is not a Cowboys fan is trying to figure this out. He said to me so anybody can say a NFL player assaulted them and they can get suspended. I just think I know how to win my fantasy league (wink, wink). I just looked at him and he replied just kidding, maybe. I just shooked my head because I can't find any logic in this decision but than again logic and reasoning is not in thte NFL. Now I really hope the Cowboys win the SB and Goodell has to hand the MVP trophy to Elliott. That will make my year.

Yep been saying it since day one. Aikman reiterated the same thing. Zekes suspension is not a matter of if... it is when. It is going to happen as long as that CBA is in effect. The PU just needs to do better "due care" next go round.

Honestly political affiliation should have zero to do with your opinion. It’s spot on but no need to speak on the political part.

The only reason I pointed that out is the current political climate. I don't want to dive into the details but I think you can read between the lines there.

No, what she is basically saying is, "Football is for angry violent evil men. You are one of them. This anti-abuse thing the NFL PR dept is peddling is important, and your team still gets to play, so it's not like you're negatively impacted at all. Besides, your're an evil angry man like I pointed out before, so you'd deserve it anyway if you were."

This isn't a guilt or innocence issue. This is a CBA issue, folks really need to separate the two. The NFLPA granted the commissioner absolute power to rule on these types of cases so therefore you have the current problem.

This. Blame the NFLPA for agreeing to such a ludicrous CBA in the first place.

All I can add at this point is this:

Thankfully there is some justice for that poor woman.

i hear what everyone is saying about the CBA screwing Zeke, but what about the investigators findings that were ignored? If they just want to do whatever they feel like doing then why even pretend? The ruling to me indicates that they are not under any obligation to really be fair.

Honestly, if I ran in Goddell's circles I would claim he sexually assaulted me so he would be suspended.

Having read through the brief, pretty clear bias here. Woman hates football and players seemingly.
That was a misogynist post and I will be reporting it to the moderators.

:clap:Couldn't have articulated it better myself. They'll have a shot in 3-yrs but we'll probably see the same lack of discipline and tactical posture by the NFLPA.

Yea because victim blaming has always shown to be the best way forward.
Let’s not blame the people who commit acts of evil. Let’s blame the victims for allowing them to abuse the power and trust you gave them.

What a philosophy.
