Really like Correa. I love Simba (our Andrelton Simmons), but this guy is a stud.

When ARod called him the best player in the game I was mad, but then I cooled off.

Correa is no Trout, cut it out, ARod, but he's a hell of a SS and stud, and his proposal was beautiful.

Yea, he isn't the same talent as Trout. But, it can be argued that he is more important to the Astros than Trout to the Angels. A SS who has a glove and can hit(with power) is a crucial tool for a team wanting to win a championship.

I would take either to build a team around though :)

We had the best SS in baseball last season (according to WAR, both by fG and bG -- Simba). No player is more important to their team than Trout is to the Angels. Also, aside from that, CF is the most premium position in baseball, outside of Ace Pitcher. And a true Ace is few and far between.

If we don't get him a Chip I'll never forgive Arte.

When/if the Angels win a ring, I will concede to your statement :D

Until then, Correa is more valuable to his team IMO :flagwave:

You’re crazy. Correa isn’t even the best Astro.

Altuve is. And it’s not even close. And after him it’s probably Verlander.

Let’s see how Correa does next year. Every year it’s the “who’s the next Mike Trout?” Hell, Springer was their best player in the WS.

Altuve has been the only constant in the “Trout vs MLB” debate. Even Harper has crap years. Altuve has been the most consistent player in the debate. The latest, Mookie Betts — scrub. At least when compared to the Mount Everest that is Trout. Last year, “Mookie will be the next Trout”. Hell, let’s see what Judge does next year.

And he (Altuve) doesn’t hold a matchstick to Trouty :flagwave:
