Hey. Do you all remember last year, when you was drunk on the kool aid and actually believed a "rookie" with 10 games of experience was better then Romo.

Hello reality is knockin. Last year was our chance and when faced with a choice we turned our back on the magician and drank the kool aid, look back check my posts if you can.

I ve stayed true to my word.

I plead for Romo. You all turned your backs. Now look what you got . Nothning.

You thought we were building. moving in a positive direction. Guaranted success. You did a false math you figured that last year was the floor and the " sky" was the limit.

Hahahalol. Really, you aint loyal and God hates the ungrateful. But now you know or you should.

3 points prove the greatness of Romo. Not in a fan boy way. The Greatness that has propped up Garett and extended his carear.

1. Bryant is great. Bryant is a weapon. But Dak cant utilize said weapon. Romo appreciated and took full advantage of said weapon.

2. Romo carried this team and his ability to adjust and read defenses( his football IQ, evidenced by his commentating style) allowed Garrett to become a gum chewer and professional clapper.

3. Romo for majority of caear had no line. So they built that.

Rb situation ? Barber. Over achiever to the upmost. Murray. Beautiful but we know it was that line they built.

Come on down Zeke you gonna join Romo Bryant and the best Oline in a long time, semi historic even.

Oh Wait what happen freak injury. Oh what the rook doing his thing holding things down. Alright thats whats up.

Wait . . What. . Hold up guys what The gingerbread clapper just announced the rook with 8 games experience was gonna start ahead of Romo. And without a protest you all threw Romo under the bus. How many be honest hoe many even to this day will still desecreT your QB Romo by saying he aint nothning cause he never won nothning. Fools. You deserve this.

If you at any moment last year believed Dak was better tgen Romo. And arrogantly argued that point. Here you go this is for you.

Remember this is pretty much all Romo ever had here but he would still find a way to win in spite of that clown of a coach

Now you got Dak and the Clapper.

So show of hands.

Who was willing to dump Romo. Karma is a *****

Well, we could have started Romo as soon as he was healthy, but I don't know if we would've improved upon 13-3. Maybe we would have done better in the playoffs? Maybe.

For this year, the way Dak has been taking hits, I'm not sure how Romo would've lasted.

How much more juice (games) do you think we could've squeezed out of Romo?

Dak Prescott's numbers against top-10 defenses are better than Romo's through 26 career starts.

Romo had an unusual run where he played only 4 top-10 defenses in his first two years.

And that's after Romo had three years of learning under Sean Peyton, Bill Parcells, Vinny Testeverde and Drew Bledsoe. He walked into a situation with prime TO, Terry Glenn, prime Witten, top-5 OL in 2006/2007 and an easy schedule.

And I love Romo

That being said, Romo had some CLUNKERS his first few years. The Philly Christmas game, Seattle playoff game where they had THREE corners signed off the street, the 5 INT Buffalo game, the 2007 Philly game, the Baltimore and Philly games to close out 2008z

1 of the main arguments was that Dak was rolling and it wasnt wise to impede his progress by benching him. Well every one weighed the options and said lets dump Romo this kid is amazing look what he is accomplishing. Lost in 1st rd its ok its just the beginning.

2 games without his LT and I just got 0 pts from him in fantasy. And you fools still believe he is better then Wientz but you thought he was better then Romo.

Lol like Super Bowl rings grow on trees

LOL, OP is so caught up in the hurt of the moment that he can't even think straight. In the end, Romo was an immobile man of glass that wasn't taking the Cowboys anywhere. Dak was stringing wins together and you do not mess with that as it is occurring. Dak can still string wins together if he has his supporting cast on the field. With backups the Cowboys are just not the same team. It's time to stop ripping into players that are not part of the problem. The reactionary mentality that some so-called Cowboys fans have is what makes you the worst in the NFL. The smartest thing said on this topic was said by Romo himself... The NFL is a meritocracy and Dak has earned his right to lead the Cowboys as the QB.

One thing everyone seems to be forgetting is that Romo was able to get the ball out faster and was far more adept at moving up in the pocket. We also must remember that some of these blitzes that Daz has been seeing would never work against a Tony Romo. Tony would also make sure to get them in the correct play and would then make certain that his protection was properly set. There is far more to quarterbacking than just throwing the football.

If it was truly a top 5 OL during that time then why was Bledsoe benched? I seem to remember him being unable to avoid the rush so it seems Romo’s ability to avoid pressure made the offensive line of misfit toys look better than it really was. Ya know, Gurode snapping the ball over his head? False start Adams? The 2006/2007 line was nowhere near the level of the line today.

Well I would hope so. Given just how much the team has improved since Romo was starting. Dak has had the privilege to play behind the best o-line and have arguably the best Rb in football for most of his career. Can't say the same about Romo.

Interestingly, its the same sort of idiocy Romo put up with in dallas for years that Dak gets to enjoy now.
There’s a rather large group of posters who just enjoy hating on Cowboy players. When the team is winning, they’re quiet as a rock. When the team is losing, they come out beating their chests about how they whined and complained about a player and try and justify it with the losses. Some people just enjoy misery.
