How are our failed players doing on other teams?

@SeanLee50 made an interesting point how our previous players were doing well on the vikings defense.

anyone know if there are other good examples of our coaches' failure to make available work?

if the problem are the coaches and scheme, it should be quite obvious then.

Barry Church had an amazing game today, and I saw mo make some really key stops

  • Devin street - not playing anymore I think https://www.cbssports.com/fantasy/football/news/devin-street-reaches-injury-settlement/
  • Lance Dunbar - 5 for 31 yds
  • Escobar - not playing
  • Lucky whitehead - was injured got signed to jets PS
  • Dannny McCray - last season was 2015 with the cowboys
  • Jameil Showers - not in the NFL. I think we tried him at safety.
  • Tyler Clutts - last played in 2015 with the cowboys
  • Kellen Moore - not in the NFL
  • Andrew gachkar - 1 tackle for the Carolina Panthers
  • Mark Nzeocha - 2 tackles for the 49ers
  • Jack Crawford - 5 tackles for the Falcons
  • Ryan Russell - 10 tackles for the Bucs
  • Jeremy mincey - last played in 2015 with the cowboys
  • Leon McFadden - last played in 2016 with the cowboys
To be continued

he does this every year though. They are all just salesmen.

I will never forget him saying in the summer of 08 how he was going to have a ton of calls on cowboys players because they were so good and the roster was so deep he would be cutting starters.

and in the end. No.

not only that but because miles austin was injured and never really had the chance to take one of the wr spots they had to go and use a first round pick on Roy Williams. In fairness I supported that trade at the time because I thought he was a good player and would add a difficult dimension to defend. I felt like that was a super bowl caliber team. That 08 team was wades best defense at one point until all of a sudden the ravens 4th qtr happened.

anyway. Everytime they sniff success they get this idea that they outsmarted everyone and know something no one else does. then it always backfires. Everytime.
I just didn't like how he took a shot at our players after letting them go. A classy vet like Barry Church didn't deserve that slick remark about their inability to get turnovers. Something I've noticed, Stephen seems to lack Jerry's reverence for players and the profession.

its a common thing. They got rid of marion barber and terrance newman and acted like they were garbage when they left too.
Stephen Jones is a poser. I think he is the guy that thinks they are the smartest guys in the league and sets the foundation for that.

this reflects the arrogant attitude:
1. anyone can run behind our OL before our 2015 disaster.
2. and before the 2017 disaster, we will draft DBs that play better as rookies than the players that are not worth bring back.
3. we are going to plan our salary cap that will allow us to dominant for a long time, and we can do it because we can continue to find gems in the garbage pile.

  • Ken bishop - no longer in NFL
  • Kenneth boatright - see above
  • Emmit cleary - played 5 games for Detroit
  • Ryan Davis - 12 tackles, 1 sack, 1FF for buffalo
  • Chris Whaley - no longer in NFL
  • Ryan Williams - no longer in NFL
  • Darius jackson - no longer in NFL
  • Zach wood - no stats plays for the Saints

That says it all right there!

why the hell our dumb *** coaching staff and ownership decided to invest, develop and part ways with Claiborne is beyond me.

That's like developing Jaylon Smith and letting him walk when he's 100% healthy and playing solid football.
