Do we know if Damien Wilson is going to get suspended?

Do we know if he is going to get suspended for the off season assault charge? I know he was cleared of the charges but that obviously does not stop Goodell from suspending players. If he is going to get suspended then I would rather it happen this year and not next year.

As I understand it, Wilson was cleared of legal charges and will NOT face any charges of assault nor disorderly conduct in that incident. The grand jury has already declined to indict him of assault and disorderly conduct a while back.

Of course, who the heck knows if the NFL and Roger Goodell in particular, will take it upon himself to punish and/or suspend him later. If Zeke's case is any example of the NFL's version of justice, anything can potentially happen at a later date.

Ezekiel Elliott's suspension had nothing to do with his guilt. It was a power play by Goodell and some of the owners that hate Jerry versus Jerry.

That's why Wilson will not be suspended and neither will Jarvis Landry. And as long as Goodell is in charge, he will continue to botch suspensions while doling out the harshest punishment against the Cowboys. And that's why if he is given an extension, I'm done with the NFL altogether.

If you play for the Eagles like Nigel Bradham you can commit two felonies you get crickets from the NFL. He did that at the same time as Zeke was...idk interviewed by the police. One guy was suspended for nearly half a season. One guy wasn't punished at all.

I think they're waiting for a random amount of time to ellapse before announcing a six game suspension that will change to a 2 game suspension, and then a one game suspension, and then back to 6 once the findings from their Director of Investigations have been found, buried, and then exhumed. But not until Rodger calls Jerry to give him a heads up that Wilson is in the clear.

He's been ok. Another guy (along with Jones and Brown and Jaylon and even Collins, to a lesser extent) who was a massive disappointment on defense this season.

Yeah, I know. And he's been hurt. But still, he had pro-bowl potential coming into the season. We've had good pressure around him, and he hasn't delivered. Still like the player just fine, though. And Marinelli seems really happy with him still.

I still have faith that he's every bit a future pro-bowl 3T. It's incredibly hard to evaluate him when he's playing out of position. I love the idea that several Zoners have brought forth of landing a quality 1T to pair with him. He played so damn well last year when TMac was healthy (granted, McClain was our best DL at times).

SLB is a part time position (About 15% of the snaps). Wilson was not good enough to be tried at in the Nickel (2 LBs) despite a huge need there.

They must add LBs next season.
