-We have the best field goal kicker in NFL history
-Our punt team is good in coverage and we repeatedly pin teams inside their ten with a punter who seems to have a Jordan Spieth sand wedge in his bag.
-Our punter can run a 4.6 40 and can even pass...so we have that element to unleash
-Our kickoff coverage is good
-Irving can block a kick now and then
-We've got Switz!

I don't have any formal stats to reference, but I can't imagine another ST unit around the league with such a combined set of elite attributes.

Props to the players, coaches and Front Office.

Have to actually agree. Jones is my fave P of all time, Bailey my fave K, and hoping Switzer will supplant Deion as my fave kick returner. Jones and Bailey are true gems.
Hoping Switz parlays this return into a routine thing.
Haha as much as I love Bailey, Folk still owns my favorite kick in history.

Buffalo, right? He made that kick twice.

I agree with most everything. The only thing is the notion that Switz could make such returns a routine. NFL punters usually put such loft on their kicks that it's rare to see anyone taking returns to the house. Most punts are fair catches.

Only 6 teams have had any punt returns for touchdown this season. Only 1 PR in the league has 2 TD.

Our special teams have actually been solid since....I want to say 2012? Who is our special teams coach?

Heck yeah!! That was an amazing finish and at no point did I think a) we'd have a chance to win that game b) he'd make that kick c) he'd make that kick the second time

I will say that Bailey owns my most frustrating miss of all time...against Iowa St. he makes that kick, which wasn't that long, and OK St plays for a national championship and undefeated season.

ironic

Ehhh....I think we lack a punt returner or kick returner to say it's great unless you believe in Switzer l...that run was beautiful though.

Switzer will do that over and over once he gets going. We need to get him into the passing game.

His flip into the end zone was typical Switzer if you saw him at UNC. Loves him some him.

There was so many cuss words being said that night between me and my dad.
Frustrating but crazy game.

Just totally unreal...."another INT?!??!?."
As Buffalo, you can't have that many things break your way and still lose the game.
For us, it became pure comedy, like I can't even believe all that happened and then we still pull it out in miraculous fashion. I remember hearing people in my building at that time erupt.

I'm pretty sure I saw a stat pop up on the screen early in the game that indicated Switzer is top 5 in kickoff return average this year. Pretty damn good for a rookie, and he's now shown off his great punt return ability too.

And that punt return was no "gimme"....he made some VERY nice moves weaving in and out of traffic to get to the open field. Very agile and explosive. This guy has potential to be a game changer for us.

If he can be consistent in the return game and break a few big ones each season, we've found ourselves a gem. And that's not even considering what he might be able to bring to the offense.

We have some quality ST individuals but our overall performance is lacking

Our coverage teams are not that good and our return teams are poor historically

Bailey, CJones, LP are top notch
Switzer has potential as a PR

Long returns are rare. Punters are very good and we all know about kickoffs. But he does have good return skills and once he learns the mental part can be a nice asset. Just avg double digits and you are in the top 10 returners most years. Most importantly protect the ball
