You wrote this

So you weren't implying that ATL was a good team by writing the above? Then why even mention them in a same sentence with the "best team in the league"?

You don't even know what you mean when posting. Get a clue.
Best team in the league being the Eagles and why can't I mention them in the same sentence as a team that was in the SB last year? Would a period have made that much of a difference?

Listen girlfriend, I concede, ok? You win the internet pissing contest and for your sake hopefully the Cowboys lose for the next five seasons or for however long JG is here since that's what you want.

I throw in the towel. You're smarter than me, better at a internet word battles than me and know more than myself and everyone else who still support JG. You win, you win, you win! Congrats!

BTW, genius, implying Atlanta was a very good team was exactly what I meant since I said "they are still a very good team who has the bulk of their players back from last year and didn't have near the injuries we had". I never said they were equivalent to last years team, obviously they're not, different OC being the main difference IMO.

Lol, I'm the furthest thing from being part of the "herd" mentality. My conception of happiness involve spending time with close family and friends, not verbally assaulting people on a message board for being "fake fans". Seems pretty vain, but to each their own. I'm still going to give him **** about it.

Yet you are participating in the herd mentality.

And you did verbally assault him with that psychobabble. You even admit to giving him feces.

And our chances of making the playoffs went from like 2 to 4 percent?
:muttley:
The OP checked out because he could not stand the heat.
Then, after returning, sees us beat up on a terrible team. So now he is crowing. Does he see the mediocrity train speeding towed him in the tunnel? Does he see no. 15 pick in the draft?
I hate to tell opera aria, but we still have Garrett, we still have the same GM, the same secondary and the same DC and OC.
So exult. Breathe in. Await the next round of mediocrity. Enjoy.

What in God's holy name are you blathering about? All I've ever said is I was happy we won last night, impressed with the way we played and called out all the people who have done nothing but whine, cry and hope the Cowboys lose every game for the rest of the season.

I'll never argue with you about the same GM, he is this teams biggest weakness which is also why our secondary has had issues. Not a big fan of Marinelli but we were middle of the pack last year and number kne against the run so I can't complain too much. We also shut down one of the top offenses in the league this year in KC but apparently all of that means nothing.

I'm sure we could win the SB and you guys would still be complaining about something.m"But we only won by 3 points". "Our offense defense was horrible and Dak threw an INT". "If only Romo were still here he would have played both ways, been OC and DC and we would have ahut the other team out and won by 50".

There's a difference between indignant and hating. A lot of these threads are straight up hate. To sit there and hope they lose when there is still a chance, and when you break it down it's a better chance than 2% or whatever, then I'll continue to support them.

I'll say I'm being somewhat hypocritical because I hate JJ but I'm not throwing the team or coaches under the bus and hoping for losses depending on which week we win and lose.
No, let's cheer the ship orchestra while the ship sinks (again) in a sea of mediocrity.
Let's cheer whipping bad teams for the crucible of an 8-8 season.
You know what the 15th draft pick will bring us? A mediocre player.
This continues the cycle.
Puff out yer chest, proud lad. Thy name is mediocrity.

ATL was a struggling team when we played them. They'd lost 4 out of 5 games before playing us. Only win came against the Jets in that stretch. Do you even watch football? You're clueless.

You nailed it, old fellow!!:hammer:
Yes, the coming 8-8 season will mean nothing!!
9-7 will bring us the 25th draft pick, sans a playoff!
Blimey!
You like mediocrity?
You will love the offseason and next!

Yeah, you've told me. Thanks. I guess a team that is struggling can never start a run and become better, they can go 0-4, win the SB and they'll still be struggling. Go ask the Giants how that "struggling" team worked out for them. You're clueless.

We finally did some
( apparently ) effective change-up in scheme & ploy on the defensive side of the ball, obviously due to the fact that the G.M. let it be known that some cushy casing-liner's were being scrutinized, and were rewarded with some pretty doggone good effort from the Chido Awuize cat that has long been awaited, that Kevon Frazier was tuned-up&turning it out,Too!
I can understand the harbored desire for premium draft picks,Those Cleveland fans are so totally grooving in the concept:rolleyes:

The off season is long enough as it is going 'cold turkey' waiting to hit that Cowboys fix, why be the buzz-kill?, ranting & raving about draft status 3/4's of the way thru the season is truly distasteful &in rather poor form,ol' Boy!o_O

What are you on, I want some. Let me get this straight, by your logic Atlanta wasn't a good team because they were "struggling" when they beat us therefore we were beat by a bad, struggling Falcons team? Is that not what you mean?

Not only were we beat by a struggling team but got pummeled due to your hero JG's incompetence. Do you understand or do I need to dumb it down so you can comprehend?

I just don't get it, where does it stop? Personal feelings aside should we be upset we drafted Zeke because that only helped JG? By the logic of some of these guys they should hope want to win out, just miss the playoffs and get a mid round pick. Why would they want a good pick if JG still has another year (assuming JJ doesn't fire him which most think he won't) and then that pick(s) helps him to have another winning season and possibly extend his career? I think most of you don't know what you want or if you do you haven't thought it all the way through, you're too filled with hate.

So AGAIN, when we played the Falcons they had just started a run and have lost 1 of 4 since and the one loss was to the Panthers by 3 points. So you're saying a team that is/was struggling can never have a turning point hence my example of the 2007 or 2011 Giants (whichever year it was when they started 0-4) and won the SB.

My god, I truly mean this, you are either very dense and your mommy always told you otherwise or you're just trolling me. Probably both.

If you were a good coached team you don't get blown out like we did against a struggling ATL. Had JG been a capable coach, he would have had his team more prepared and be at least competitive even without TSmith. You don't give up 6 sacks to an average player unless you have no idea what you are doing.

Are you this clueless? I think they made a movie about you.

Do you come up with anything new, you sound like a broken record and it took my 2-3 times to explain to you how a "struggling" team can turn things around. Actually I sound like a broken record because of how many times I have to explain the same simple concepts to you over and over again. Children...are you a child?

I agree, more should have been done to help the O line but there's also positive things he's done otherwise we wouldn't have got to 13-3 last year and whether or not he sent extra help for the O line I still think we would have lost that game handily due to the injuries and suspensions. Anyone can pick apart almost every coach and how they could have handled things better or worse. Yes, that specific instance was obvious but most other coaches make plenty of mistakes as well that cost their teams games, it happens. Under the circumstances I think he's done a pretty good job.

Whatever man, it hasn't been a pleasure and I'm bored to death arguing with you so, as I said, I hope you get what you want, more losses. Hopefully we go 0-16 next year.
