Made even stranger by the fact that the rumors broke Saturday that McAdoo would be let go. You would think someone at the top could have called down and just told them to start Eli. “Hey Ben, go ahead and start Eli, we’ll explain Monday morning when we call you up to our office for a totally benign meeting.”

Maybe McAdoo knew it was going to end for him, so he started Geno and sat Eli in spite to snap his streak....
