Eli Manning to start Sunday vs Dallas

fine by me, he still has no one to throw the ball to and Geno at least brought a run threat. On the flip side, what a dumb chain of events in Giant land. I'm not one for records but Eli's consecutive starting streak was impressive and was the culmination of a dozen+ years - you don't go throwing that away. They're a week too late in firing Mcadoo.....just a head scratcher all around

Geno Smith doesn’t run at all. Eli has Sheppard and engram to throw to.

Made even stranger by the fact that the rumors broke Saturday that McAdoo would be let go. You would think someone at the top could have called down and just told them to start Eli. “Hey Ben, go ahead and start Eli, we’ll explain Monday morning when we call you up to our office for a totally benign meeting.”

Garrett is getting that deer in the headlights look right now. His palms are starting to sweat and he can't hold a coherent thought. He is scared to death because he thought he had a mini bye week and the rug was just pulled out from under him.

Sunday will be a long day for the Cowboys

I just remembered from last week a story they brought on NFLN regarding Eli benching. They said Mara went to the GM and told him they might want to make a change at QB.

Now I am not the biggest fan of Jerry here, but I have to admit that this is a clear example how he was/is been treated unfairly and as a nosy interfering owner/GM. What Mara and his GM did, isn't that an owner and GM sticking their noses in coaching matters?

The weakness of that offense remains the OL and the strength of our defense the DL. OF course we need to be able to take away the quick throw with Awuzie and co but Eli is not mobile and I see DLaw and co having their way.

They should. As long as we have a lead it will probably be a good day for Dallas.

The giants though have now given their fans something to rally around Sunday, manning back at the qb spot and the coach they all hated gone.

So Dallas needs to survive the emotional element early in the game.

I am concerned it will be windy or cold again like last year. Dak was awful at ny last year and has struggled all year this year. I just don’t see this as a gimme given the circumstances and since we have a qb who is struggling so much.

Geno in 4 full seasons has more rushing yards and TDs than Eli in 14. When I said Eli has no one to throw to, it wasn't meant to be taken literally....geeze

If we lose to the Giants, Jason Garrett should walk all the way back to Dallas.
he won't be welcome in Dallas, might as well just stay there and save himself the energy

lord knows he doesn't use any to do any meaningful coaching

This will be a major vendetta game for Eli and the entire team.

They have had their faces slapped, the people that did it are gone, and they'll have something to prove.
John Mara is still there. The weasel.

Need to ride Morris and Rod Smith early.

Early reports are Westerly winds 13 mph with high 41 low of 25. Irk what it would be at 1pm.
