Will the Eagles go after Romo

Anyone who thinks the Eagles would value Romo over Foles at this point is truly a delusional homer....much like the Packers idea for signing Romo.....ridiculous thinking.

No one is even making phone calls.

Romo is made of glass and hasn’t played in almost 3 seasons now. Romo doesn’t know their offense or have any timing with their receivers. He would suck! Also, did you see the hits Wentz took yesterday and those by Foles? One of those hits Foles took would put Romo back in surgery.

3 years? We suffered through a horrible year without him. We enjoyed a great year last season without him, and now another season is 3 weeks from over....3 years for a broken down player? Nope.

Why do people keep acting like it was hard hits that put Romo out? It wasn't. It was awkward landings that put unusually high torque/compression at certain points.

He was not made of glass.

Following you?

I couldn't laugh out any louder. You turn nearly EVERY thread into a Dak hating thread.

Heck, I was on another board reading about the new Star Wars movie, and I'm fairly certain that I read you blaming Dak for the Empire's fall.

And yet, here you are in a Romo thread complaining once again about Romo...

LOL…show me where I complained about Romo — and not his psycho fans — in this thread.

Of course you don’t.. you just keep telling us how Romo never won anything in this thread and threads like it, while you consistently make excuses for Dak’s piss poor play as everybody else’s Fault but himself..

If you noticed, you were talking about general behavior..

IMO if Romo ever leaves the commentary booth (where he's killing it) it'll be to a coaching job.

Kaepernick's name has come up again, I see. Every fricken time a QB goes down people start calling for Kaepernick to be put in and every time an organisation doesn't they have to justify themselves *rolls eyes*.

Talk about moving the goalposts. You accused me of, "complaining about Romo," and I asked you to show me, and you have nothing.

I didn't even say that "Romo never won anything." So try again. You're sadly grasping at straws.

I am merely pointing out, again, that certain fans (looking at you and the OP) are truly irrational when it comes to #9.

Their ridiculous fawning over Romo, and their inability to understand that he's gone results in equally, irrational hatred/disdain for our current QB.

I've said it before, but I'm certain that there are some fans (are you?) who are Romo fans before Cowboys fans.

Of course you saying that fans will say he ‘defeated Zeus’ and everybody else was basically you not trying to say he didn’t do anything if worth here.. you know, the record was on him, and the fans of Romo just exaggerate his worth..

But Dak, all the excuses in the world come out for him.. but guess what? Dak doesn’t have those excuses.. Garrett is NOT his playcaller. Dak has an OL..

Of course you saying that fans will say he ‘defeated Zeus’ and everybody else was basically you not trying to say he didn’t do **** here..

Dude. You're not that slow.

I was CLEARLY making fun of the "Romo did no wrong" fans.

No, you were clearly making fun of “Romo is better than Dak and should have been starting” fans and trying to use exaggerated hyperbole to convey your point that Dak should be starting over Romo, because Dak has done something, while ignoring his surrounding supporting cast as well as his garbage play this year which gives ample evidence to the fact Romo should he starting here.. and that bothers you..

that is what your motivation is, which is why you have to defend Dak on every topic about Romo, while bringing up Romo’s play with surrounding garbage..

Fact is Romo wanted to compete for the starting job here.. his retirement was because he wanted to finish out his career with the Cowboys, not that he didn’t believe he could not play anymore..

How does that make you feel pal, angry?

I'm not the one whining, crying, sobbing, and *****ing every time Kaepernick gets overlooked for a job. I am getting annoyed at seeing all the *****ing though.
wait, so you're whining, crying, sobbing, and *****ing about other people whining, crying, sobbing, and *****ing?

He was one tough SOB...

but this thread topic is silly

Similar to how you're whining, crying, and sobbing about my whining, crying and sobbing that others are whining, crying and sobbing about Kaepernick. Nice way to enter a conversation

The guy couldn’t take a hit any longer. He couldn’t even practice regularly when healthy, taking a day off every week just to rest that back from the throwing motion. He is long over the hill, and only fans are thinking he could still play.

Romo definitely wouldn't last a full season anymore. Some fans are bitter and angry though that he wasn't parachuted into the playoffs last year to try and guide the Cowboys to a SB. Not really Dak's fault, he wasn't the one calling the shots
