Bradshaw on Post Game

Sorry, as Aikman said, "if you don't want him to have the option to pass, don't give him that option"

Comes back to coaches
Im fine with that.

I wouldve run 4 times down there.
But he did refuse to hand it off when it was an option. But I get that whoever called the play couldve tied Daks hands more to keep him from screwing it up.

it's obvious the contingent that doesn't like Dak. You don't give your qb the option to throw period. It's not rocket science. If he disobeys, you
Time after time you heard Aikman point out that Dez was one on one on the outside against byron freaking Maxwell....

He kept saying that Dak had to take advantage of that. (any NFL average QB makes that play)

yeah lets force the ball to dez who already had several drops and a game shifting fumble

You don't give Dak the option to throw period. They couldn't stop Zeke all game and you have essentially 4 downs to punch it in. You do NOT risk throwing on that play.

Yeah, thats probably true.
As I said, Im running 4 times down there

Some may say, what if in the extreme, they put 11 in the box. Do you have the option to not hand off, but instead keep it and walk i to endzone around the end.
Just saying

But yes, im pounding them down down there

"Whey you have first and goal on the three and don't use Zeke Elliot, you get what you deserve in this game, which is a loss."

Ouch!

It's not complicated. First and goal at the 3, Zeke is back after 6 weeks, give him the dang ball...four times if necessary.

But no, let's get cute and go backwards 20 yards. That's what SOFT teams do, like resting players to keep them "safe". Those are the 21st century Cowboys, occasional flash but crumple when the pressure is on. Thanks, Jerry.

You guys act like Dez never made boneheaded plays with Romo as the QB.

He also had multiple drops and caused multiple interceptions with Romo as the QB.

Still, both Dez and Romo were top 10 talents despite this.

Tell me, what receiver in the NFL gets 20 yards of separation on each play?

Dak has got to make those throws..he just has to..

Hey, Dak made the correct call, they sold out on the run and had Beasley one on one (Beasley got wide open) but Dak got happy feet and decided to try and sneak it in..

Excuses , Excuses...

What is really ticking me off the more I think about is.

They built this offense to revolve around the running game, they have a vanilla style of play where they run on first down almost every time.

Yet whenever the going gets tough this coaching staff panics and tosses the run out the window.

Not to mention all the times they have gotten inside the 5 and decided to start passing every down. It has been an on going pattern with JG since he came to the Cowboys.

But none of it matters, because the only person less competent than JG, in this organization is Jerry Jones.

Zeke was constantly moving forward. Maybe you let dak have the pass run option on 1st down, but after you see it didn't get him anywhere, you TELL him to hand it off to zeke.

Linehan is a pass first offensive coordinator. He was forced to temper that in 2014 with Murray and again last year, but the old tendencies die hard, witnessed by the multiple red zone disasters.

Or Dak as well...who chose to not hand off on both 1st and 2nd down
Is this confirmed or are we just pretending we knew the play calls again?
Please tell me this isn’t based on Aikmans speculation....
It’s not right?

Dez hasn't had a 100 yard week in 21 games. Blaming Dak doesn't make Dez any more valuable, or justify continuing to pay him big bucks.

It is just so frustrating. The entire season is on the line, you built a team that depends on its offensive line and running game, and you go down throwing the ball from the 3 yard line.
