Problem fellas is one Jason Garrett.....................please name me one single QB that has been developed or got better since Clapper took over.

I cant think of a single QB that has gotten better the longer they are with Clapper, most of them either stay the same or get worse. If they are good, it is because they were good when they got here, not because of being developed under Garrett.

So that is a big problem if Dak doesn't right his own ship and figure out what went wrong this season, because expecting Garrett to fix it is laughable.

I agree. There are some major contributing factors to our offensive ineptitude other than Dak.

The offensive scheme, coaching, and play calling is extremely lacking.

O-line has played awful, worst play since
Romo’s makeshift line from 2010-2012.

WR’s are well below average. Most of the time Dak has to thread the ball in a tiny window to complete a pass.

I really think the scheme is so simple, defenses know what we’re running before the snap. How many plays do we even have in the playbook? 30? 35?

No joke, we run Beasley on a the same 5 yard out route every 3rd down. Same with witten.

I only used Romo as an example because people said that Dak struggled this year because of poor protection , but if you look at the actual numbers, the protection this year has been good/average...


The "Romo was a vet" argument goes out the window because Carson Wentz has also been sacked more times than Dak this season and it didn't seem to affect him..

So, if "playing behind a bad O line (31 sacks)" is the reason that Dak turned into Tim Tebow, how do you guys explain Wentz? (35 sacks in less games)

Well you see where Wentz is at now right?. And yeah Dak getting killed by Atlanta was pretty good for his psyche. No qb in the league will survive taking hits. I went to games when Collins was still learning to play RT. Some of those hits he took wasnt healthy.

i think that's jerry's handiwork. he coddles his winning teams thinking they will be lights out the next year but he only spoils them and they never get back to the playoffs.

Its been made clear that in his first year, Dak mostly ran the exact plays he was asked to, and did so wonderfully. He was very an extremely well protected, efficient robot Dak QB...is how it was described on the radio yeserday.
All with an all world oline and the league's leading rusher.
Nirvana situation..that will doubtfully ever be duplicted.

The smart DCs around the league learned he had some trouble in the pocket and handling changing fronts.
He was given leeway to audible.
He lost Free and Leary....and even Smith part of the year...but still had 2 All Pros. Thats more than any other team, I think. So an historic oline reduced to only a good line.
Lost his security blanket Zeke for six games
Lost his mojo

The result....
Worst QB rating by a real starting Cowboy QB in 11years

I still think he (they) right the ship next season.
Call me crazy

Dak can get back on track
He needs to work on his technique and study hard
The OC need to work around what the qb does best and that’s not throwing up jump balls for dez over and over

I'm a big Dak fan but I am very concerned. He is not the same player and you can tell he is totally pressing. ....that over throw to Zeke was complete panic. The FO needs to keep its options open as far as QB help.
