Dak was having a better year than last before Zeke was suspended

Dak or the scheme? 7 weeks ago, none of those issues you said were a factor in us losing games. He was more consistent than he is now. WRs are not throwing Dak under the bus like TO did with Romo. They are pinning to the scheme. It's blatantly obvious that defenses know what we are doing next. The running game was beginning to suffer as well. Is that Dak's fault as well?

TO was calling out Garrett and the scheme..

and it proceeded from there.. and TO actually blamed Witten and still doesn’t like him.

your 'facts' are only opinions. Mean nothing. Dak was not as good this year at anytime as he was most of last year.

LMAO

Facts are NOT opinions, and they DO mean something because if we want to get to the root of the problem, we have to identify the source of the issue. The tape does show Dak was playing at a good level in the beginning of the year. In fact, Dallas lost many games in the beginning of the season because coaching was unable to make changes on the defensive side of the ball. Those are not opinions. Those are facts.

I don’t get the Prescott hate really.

He’s not going to sling it around like Romo but the guy can be super effective.

It’s not like guys are wide open a lot either. Garrett has made sure of that.

No one is denying that, but you cannot ignore the initial point of this thread. Dak was having a good year until the final stretch of the season. Dak has shown more positives on film than bad. That much is true.

So who is Dak? The QB from the first half or the scrub from the 2nd half? You have to go with 2nd half if you are being honest. It's up to him to figure out how to improve.

There is no scheme to fix him. This "scheme" nonsense is a weak excuse.

You could give him Rice, Moss, and Irvin, and it wouldn't matter. He isn't capable of getting it to them. He can't do it.

The SF 49ers were absolute garbage at that time and they allowed 265 yards rushing against this team..

When we lost to GB, again Dak scrubbed in the third and as he continued to struggle, he couldn’t keep pace with Rodgers. He threw a pick 6 that put the game away and the last TD which padded his stats was effectively garbage time.

LMAO

The pick six was a blatant drop by Williams. Also, "LOL" on not keeping up pace with Rodgers. HE actually DID. The defense just blew it in the final minute. Some people are just ridiculous here and would just love to die in their own misery.

I agree on the scheme but that doesn't explain him missing wide open receivers on a regular basis down the stretch.

Tape has shown that he is more the first half than a matter of 5 games down the season. He's got more tape to prove he's a capable starter.

What are you talking about? The pick six bounced off of T. Williams hands and the last touchdown pass gave us the lead.

Who is making up their own reality? Are cowboys fans this bitter that they will ignore facts even when they are presented right in front of them? I get this was a disappointing season, but let's not tell half truths here to support a narrative.
You are making up a reality. It is easily proved that he wasn’t anywhere near last year at any point this year. Last year he finished in the top 4 in every major efficiency category. After 8 games this year he was a mediocre quarterback. Please stop spreading false information and embarrassing yourself.

TO called out Romo and Jason Witten for not incorporating him in their plans.

After he called out Garrett and the coaches. He was asked specifically when the offense was striggling they don’t use him in motion and from the slots slants, what he’s made a career of doing and he said ask the coaches..

And the media used him as an excuse for a stalling Cowboys offense..

They also brought in Roy Williams before the problems magnified, because the offense was struggling and to help Garrett out..

TO ‘criticizing’ Romo and Witten doesn’t mean he didn’t blame Garrett either nor his scheme.

Clayton and others to this day from those days call out Garrett specifically.

The Ravens were calling out Garrett as well..

There is a reason Linehan finally became play-caller and duties were eventually stripped away from Garrett by Jerry..

Of course he was having a good year until that Atlanta game. Some don't want to give him any credit or want to take some away from what he did last year. He's gun shy right now. I don't know if he can overcome it or improve. I'm very concerned with him.

There's no argument there. I DO believe Dak needs to get better. I just don't buy into the nonsense that Dak can't suddenly play qb anymore or he's been figured out. I think he just needs more experience and better weapons to feel comfortable to throw it down the field. These skill players are not getting any type of separation and when they did, they would drop it.

Regardless, what you're saying is what i'm saying as well. Garrett has a track record of being predictable with his scheme.

On a zone and Dak threw it behind TWill at his upper left chest on a simple dunk and dunk.. still should have caught it, but like normal Dak’s accuracy sucks..

And none have that changes the fact upto that point he was doing nothing subcevtye half. Nor does it change his Cowboys record in futility INTs returned for TDs that were on him..

How bad is your memory the last TD against Green Bay wasn’t garbage time. It gave them the lead.

A touchdown that gives the team a lead isn’t garbage time.

Good lord.

I disagree. A QB is who he has been the last few games, not who he was at some point in the past.

That pick was ALL on TWill. Any coach in the NFL will tell you that.
