Is there a limit on sig GIF file size?

I see it when I load it and it plays fine. When I see a post of mine there's just a pic icon with an X over it.

500x350 is also the max height for signatures as a whole, not just an image

Also ... animated images are NOT allowed in signatures!

Aww dang. But I get it though. If we all had sigs that took a while to load, the page would take forever to come up. Thanks y'all.
