Analysts expect FOX to lose 280m a year on its new dealThey just sold the rights for major bank so it was hardly a poor decision on the NFL's part. Fox management you could make the argument for but not he NFL.

CBS and NBC both lost millions at 450m a year and now FOX went up to 660m

Link?
I was hoping there would be no TNF.
CNBC was just talking about this on Squawk Box, before the bell open.
Said they would lose $330 million, but it is a long term strategic play.
Based on what?
And frankly the network that employs Kramer is the last place I would go for financial news.
Just posting what they said.
I don't take what they say for granted, but it is better than watching NFLN or any other show on during the morning.
It is just a good way to get a feel for a few things. I never rush to buy a stock they talk about. If I was day trading, maybe, LOL. as they usually take a pop up, then back down.
I tried watching Bloomberg and a few other shows, to see how they do, but just not the same. FOX Business doesn't do as much for me either, not in the morning hours.
Yeah, I usually mute it when Cramer is on, well, actually it is on mute quite often. He is too big of an Eagles fan so I mute him at times.
I still cannot believe he can find a job after what he pulled in 2008. He's a shill.
that's basically what i said the first time but than people said it would be fox sports ie FS1/2 etc..i figured it was on our regular fox 4 local channel..the other way made no sense as it would isolate viewers without cableNo........it will be on regular over the air FOX as well as the NFL Network for 11 weeks
The NFL Network will cover the other weeks solo, except for Thanksgiving
Some feel Buck is anti Cowboy and gaga over Rodgers, so he irritates them. I think he does a good job and he will "tell it too much like it is" at times and that doesn't sit well with some, even if they agree with his observations.Nice. I don't understand the hate on Joe Buck. I like his game calling along with Aikman.
I was expecting the TNF games to be terminated but after this agreement, I guess we will watch better quality games as of next season.
Well I remember Buck going on and on about Rodgers so I understand why some fans would think he favors him. When Rodgers was gimping around he was sort of on his nuts a little. "Look at the one-legged freak of nature miracle worker Rodgers, God I want to have his baby."Some feel Buck is anti Cowboy and gaga over Rodgers, so he irritates them. I don't know that they will have them on the TNF game and the #1 FOX game on Sunday as well. Aikman likes to do his research during the week and that would really hamstring his ability to do that.
As far as FOX getting the game, it is usually the top rated show with men 18-49 and they lean in that direction with their overall programming and use football as a self-promotion more than any of the other nets. They will also use that to try and recycle the audience to their college games on Saturday. They can afford to lose money on this and can justify the expense based on their level of self-promotion.
Is that why he grew that goofy beard?Well I remember Buck going on and on about Rodgers so I understand why some fans would think he favors him. after the announcement, their stock went down, lolGuess fox had some money to waste. Also means next cba won't be getting rid of or reducing slate of Thursday night games.
