Romo in an offense designed by McCarthy or Holmgren with TO would have been INSANE. Such a perfect fit.

Talk about delusional....

Yeah, but in fairness giving Dak a big target that could actually beat a defender and catch the ball, instead of the broken down version of Dez he got, would have been a huge help.

He started slow on his routes (lack of quickness) but his top end speed was very elite...he would often blow by defenders once he hit that 2nd and 3rd gear.

That’s why motion was a weapon for him, which we used little of. Garrett was an idiot and Parcells was using antiquated ideas. Parcells should have made Payton his play-caller when he was here.

Romo would have started sooner and TO would have been used all over the place.

How the Cowboys didn't seem to take building a defense very seriously for Romo is beyond me.

Romo had to feel like a one legged man in a butt kicking contest out there.

We very rarely used draft picks on offensive playmakers during Romo’s time.

We actually had a lot of defensive talent and significant resources on that side of the ball. I would venture to say that we probably had more draft picks and salary tied up in the defense during Romo’s early years.

For whatever reason, it didn’t all come together at the right time but Anthony Spencer, Orlando Scandrick, Brandon Carr, Mo Claiborne, Demarcus Ware, Jay Ratliff, Greg Hardy, Sean Lee, Bobby Carpenter, Mike Jenkins, Marcus Spears, Byron Jones, Gerald Sensabaugh, Bruce Carter and Ken Hamlin all had significant resources put into them during Romo’s time here be it salary or draft picks. I probably missed a couple.

Obviously there are some fails there but it’s not like the Cowboys didn’t think building a defense was important.

Someone has to snap you Romo dreamers out of it. He's gone. He didn't win the big one. He put up wonderful stats but, again, didn't win the big one. Hoorah. Time to move on.
News flash: your new super hero hasn't won anything either and there is no reason to believe that he will do so other than your hope based on nothing intellectually related to football analysis.

And yet, here you are saying you wish TO played with Dak..

Ironic isn’t it, making all sorts of excuses for Dak’s pathetic play other than himself, including him not having TO...

never fails. Romo hater just has to try and piss in everyone's Wheeties.
LIke I have said they are psychotic - the guy is retired and they still foam at the mouth to any thread that in any way compliments him.
Young/Garcia & McNabb were equal as effective. Just saying.

I know you still have a Romo teddy bear in your little room, but it's over bro.
