He lights onthe chairs were interesting. But really, that areana was only 25-30% full.
The upper deck appeared to be 95% empty.

Winter Olympics was much bigger when I lived in Norway the whole country would almost grind to a halt, it's the only thing that matters for those 2 weeks. Here in the states I barely notice it's going on

They are like 13 hours ahead of us so the NBC Primetime coverage is nothing but edited feel good soap operas trying to generate ratings and a butt load of commercials

I still can't believe snowboarding is an Olympic sport. Don't get me wrong I like it. As an old skateboarder (though I mostly just roll around anymore) and snowboarder in my younger days it's just strange to me.

Makes sense.
I do think the Winter Olympics were more of a huge thing in the past here, but never like in Norway or some of other big winter sport countries.
The Summer Games arent even what they used to be here.

Why wouldn't golf be? don't get me wrong, Olympic golf isn't the pinnacle of that sport, like it is for Track and Swimming and many other sports, but the same can be said for Basketball, Hockey or Soccer.

Watching woman’s hockey ... it needs to be dropped as an Olympic sport, no competition which makes it incredibly boring.

The mixed pairs curling was good...
