Where's the love for Dante Pettis?

I think he's a very viable option that would make a great #2 on our roster. Solid long speed (sub 4.5), good quickness (watch his punt returns) and reliable hands (1.85 drop rate was lowest in Pac 12). His scouting reports also reads polished route runner.

He's a little slight, but he's good some good length to him.

Could he be had in the 3rd or would we have to take him with our 2nd?

Not a bad draft option. My question is....it seems like this team is full of receivers that are #2 types. Beasley, T-Will, even Dez. Seems like this team either needs to get their receiving corps to just be a bunch of guys who run dependable routes (neither Dez nor Twill fit this mold) or they need to acquire some talent that can stretch the field.

We need a good 2, not just A 2.

I had him in the 3rd in my Cowboys mock draft. He's a little skinny, but I think he's got enough speed and height to make it outside.

It will be fun to see his Combine too, I think he's a better athlete than some people think. His punt return skills at his height are really rare - the only other guy that even comes to mind is Dez.

LOVE his speed.
good hands.
needs to eat some dave's doubles...lil on the lean side...but I like this dude.
he'd be a good get.

I'd really like Pettis. I'm worried his punt return skills will push his value up and that side of things isn't all that valuable to us with Switzer but I think Pettis would be a great duel replacement for Lucky running jet sweeps and Bryce as a deep threat that stretches the field. I also think Pettis is a decent blocker for his size which is good in our offense.

As long as teams don't inflate his value too much chasing a return specialist. I hope we are in strong consideration for him.

I been wavering on this, but I like DJ Moore (Steve Smith type) good route runner, fast, great hands and can return punts. IS VERY VERSATILE. Gives us some juice. The other sleeper is Anthony Miller. Reminds me of Antonio Brown. Slippery fast and runs solid routes. I only worry about his size and durability.

Those are no.2 and no.3 for me I think after Ridley. For us they would be a great get IMO

Moore looks the part in every way..Miller is just a cross between Emmanuel Sanders and Antonio Brown.

Hey Dan, what do you think about Equanamious St. Brown? I think he's a really interesting height-weight-speed guy held back by an awful Irish offense.

Cnu how dare you dont even reference Pettis' return ability.

Set the NCAA record for punt return TDs
Also 14.2 yards per punt return
