Jerry, fix the white uniforms!

I just feel that Jerry and many fans love the Stadium and all of the fluff that has nothing to do with winning. I'll let the Patriots fans worry about uniforms because it probably gets boring debating the score of their next Super Bowl win.
:)
Good point!

Back in the 70s, I remember the push to change to a darker shade of blue for the road game jerseys. Talk about stigma - the lighter shade of blue was associated with losing on the road. There's nothing like sports to bring out superstitions and quirky rituals!

Long overdue.

How many teams have solid colors with two different shades?

Are we NAVY Blue (darker blue -- road jerseys -- helmet star)

or

Are we ROYAL Blue (lighter blue) ??

The STAR on the helmet has been NAVY blue since 1960. The road jerseys have been NAVY blue since the Cowboys' inception as well. And if I'm not mistaken, wasn't there a point in the early 90s when they did opt for the Navy blue lettering with the home jerseys??

WTH is with the royal blue? Why??? Stick with the darker blue, and migrate from those bluish-green home pants to something along the lines of metallic silver. Done!

Just use the dress blues that has been shown on this site that Roger Staubach wore and everything is great.

If they would just change the pants to a blue shine instead of a sea foam green it would look great.

I don't care if they play in glad trash bags as long as they are winnnng.
Who cares about the stupid uniforms. These are not cheerleaders, they are football players. Fans of Cheerleaders worry about how their uniforms look, fans of football teams should be worried about Winning!

Its a brand. The Cowboys uniforms are iconic. Why change them is the better question. Fortunately Jerry does have some business sense unlike some of you.

That's a fair question. In decades past the green tint in the pants helped them to look better on the TVs of the era. We no longer use those kinds of TVs. The green tint made the pants look a sharper version of gray. today with our modern TVs a gray colored pants would look more like the green-tinted ones did back in the 70s. It would be a tweak of the uniform, not a makeover, so I'm for it.

I don't really care about the pants. Just keep the white jersey and helmut.

Actually, tradition that changes is not a tradition. It is a fad. The Cowboy uniform is iconic. There aren't many teams in the league that can make that claim. You've got the Packers, Steelers, and Cowboys. Jerry has introduced more variations of it but few of them sell. Jerry has fixed our winning tradition. Lets hope he can at least keep his hands off the last vestige of that time.
Which tradition? The older tradition or the newer tradition (green pants)?

Another absolutely useless point but I wish the STAR at midfield would be so much bigger. I get they took the exact size star from Texas Stadium blah blah blah. But AT&T Stadium is huge. Just make the star much bigger lol. Like I said. Just useless stuff to complain about ha.

If you've ever seen the Broncos play live in their orange jerseys these day, they look very different live than on television. They look like creamsicles in person, much darker orange on television.

Supposedly, that's the reason for the green pants. The Cowboys wore gray pants back in the 70s.

Need to go back to the gray pants.

Yawn. You can whine and complain about the uniforms all you want, they aren't changing. Find another team. Maybe you would prefer the Seahawks who change their uniforms almost weekly. Yes, you are from the whiny loser generation. Its all over your writing and opinions. Can't fix stupid. Sorry.

you act like a 12 year old... a very wise 12 year old. LOL like going to an 8-8 split on jerseys will effect anything at all.

NO. The uniform is perfect as it is. It is distinctive and historic and if you get rid of it there goes your whole identity. You'd become just another generic looking football team, and thus cease to be THE Dallas Cowboys.

The pants previously were gray. The reason for the green tint is obsolete now that TVs have changed. Going back to the gray won't change the iconic look. On the contrary, that returns to the 60s and 70s look.

I am down with returing to the 60s and 70s blue uniforms with the gray pants called " the dress blues ". Should have never done away with those to begin with.
