Just let him play out the year on the tag. Don’t commit big money to him just yet.

Edit: of course, we all know where this is going. JJ will give him a 5 year deal that’s just a shade under Vernon’s deal.

At first I was thinking that Lawrence has only started 32 games out of 64. He's been injured and suspended.
But the two out of four seasons he's been productive he played most if not all of the year. If there's a way to throw him want he deserves but add a performance clause in his contract as well as make it so Dallas can opt out if he gets suspended again. He's a very good player when he was on the field, no question.
