Ridley's game is based on great routes and great play speed. He confirmed the play speed and lateral agility in his 3 cone. He's a guy that's going to win by running great routes and playing fast. To me the combine confirmed what we see in tape and how he wins.

Ridleys size worries me a bit and I'm also not a fan of his age either.
Ridley is more like Antonio Brown than Dez

Makes sense.

A bunch of guys still haven't come out with their first post combine mock.
Some of the notable absences to be coming out soon are : Kiper, Casserly, Davis, and many more higher profile mocks.

In any case, there's still a couple of months to go, so plenty of tweaking to come.

Chicago is desperate for WR help for their young QB. Not sure if their is a WR in free agency that will offer better value. I think Sammy Watkins is headlining the free agent WR Class and he has not been as productive as i thought he would. Gonna cost a mint to sign him too.

I work directly with a big Bears fan. He doesn't think any of the WR's are worth pick #8. He wants the Bears to trade down, if possible.

Year in year out teams reach on WRs in the first to get their pick of them. Im not betting on everyone in the league just stopping out of nowhere. Unless they sign a big name WR in free agency then them taking a WR at 8 is still very much a possibility

There isn't a WR worthy of a top 15 selection this year, but since it's a premium position you'll see teams reach.

Ridley will likely to, and wouldn't be surprised if 1 other WR goes before our pick.

Did you see the contract that Mike Evans just got? Teams apparently value WRs a lot more than I do.

I found 11 post combine mocks so far. Almost all of the NFL.com and ESPN updated mocks are still to come

Anyway, out of the 11 so far, here is the tally:

11--Calvin Ridley
7--Courtland Sutton
6--Christian Kirk
2--DJ Moore
2--James Washington
1--Marcell Ateman
1--Anthony Miller
1--Equanimeous St Brown

I saw the lone St Brown mock at about noon today and now can't relocate it. May have to drop that if I can't find the thing. reach anyway...lol

St. Brown is my WR #2. I can't believe he is being so disrespected. that combo of size, speed, and sure hands is absolutely insane. Not to mention his biggest weakness was that he was weak against press coverage (due to a lack of upper body strength) but he cam into the combine and impressed at the bench. He is my pet cat this year. Ive loved him forever. He compares favorably to AJ Green, and has a higher ceiling because of his athletic ability. Hands down... we need to draft this 6'5" man with sub 4.5 speed

Roy Williams was a very good physical talent who had a couple of good years than mailed it in after getting paid.

I hated that trade when it went down. I was such a big Miles Austin fan, and got mad they wouldn't give him more.

One mock had him in the 1st, but their later version dropped him.
It's a really deep class of decent quality-- if teams just won't reach too early, they should be able to get great value from the 2nd and 3rd rounds.

As for St Brown. He seems to have big upside but I see why he's not being projected in the 1st.
Nothing wrong with having a pet cat though.

He's moved in the many of the online ratings. Once fairly popular source had him as the about 180th best player not long ago. lol

Honestly right now his BIGGEST down side is his routes. He rounds them out and really needs to make them crisper, but I want him so bad. He is going to be a stud and I dont want to be one of the teams that passed him up. Id take him in the 2nd, i dont know if the team will, hopefully he is there in the 3rd. We could use a wr as smart as him

I'm a big fan.

No ones really talking about him, but I could easily see him drafted at the bottom of the 1st.

He is a top 30 player in my book. Not his fault his qb sucks. You can see him constantly open in his tape. EASILY top 30 for me. Such a smart player. I say we take him AND Ridley if he is there at 19. Dez, Ridley and EQ can play each WO position, and that combo of size and speed, with back up WRs in T will, Cole Bease, and Ryan Switzer you probably have the best WR core in the NFL... ever... (that is if they all reach their potential... plenty dont)

Updated, out of the 43 so far, here is the frequency of various WRs appearing in Round 1:

43--Calvin Ridley___(100%)
25--Courtland Sutton___(58%)
19--Christian Kirk___(44%)
10--DJ Moore___(23%)
4--DJ Chark___(9%)
4--James Washington___(9%)
1--Marcell Ateman___(2%)
0--Anthony Miller___(0%)
0--E. St Brown___(0%)

Some mocks were updated and one dropped Miller. So both he and St Brown currently are at zero but have made appearances in the 1st round at one point after the combine...so I'll keep them listed.

A bunch of guys still haven't come out with their first post combine mock.
Some of the notable absences to be coming out soon are : Kiper, Casserly, Davis, and many more higher profile mocks.
