We can talk about our woes with Jerry and Jason throw in Dez and our Defense but in the end unless Mr. Prescott shows he has the talent to lead our team his replacement is Priority # 1......

Maybe, maybe not but it certainly won't get addressed this off-season. Way too many needs over a young QB who did have one pretty good season.

This is his season to show us if he is the future or not.

I can't believe I am giving this thread a serious reply as well :lmao:

I think Dez defended more passes and made more tackles than some of our defensive backs last season maybe we should try him at corner this season or safety. He sure has a knack for being around bad passes

Don't forget Zeke playing bad too. Prescott won't do much if Zeke doesn't show he can carry the load more than 4.1 ypc.

I'd say it's a tie for most needy positions between DL and linebacker. Another DE and DT would help, as well as 2 LB spots to cover for Lee in case of injury and for Jaylon in the event he's not up to snuff. We'll very likely lose Hitchens, so there's that to consider as well.

Additionally, when Byron Jones moves to the corner as rumored, it'll probably open up a spot at safety. WR is yet another position to consider with Dez nearing the end of his career and Butler seemingly being at the brink of leaving for greener pastures.

Some of us might even say TE could use help if Rico isn't ready yet and Hanna is about to be released. Will Geoff Swaim come into his own along with Jarwin Blake? These are questions yet to be answered. I'm very thankful for having 10 picks available this year. We just might need 'em all.

This team's No#1 need is a force 1-tech defensive tackle who can collapse the pocket................This whole 'bend don't break philosophy' is utter crap ; there is a reason the Cowboys have struggled the past couple of years in forcing turnovers. You need to force the other teams into mistakes , which doesn't happen if your DB's are playing 10 yards off receivers and the opposing QB has a clean pocket to step up and make a throw......................

Yeah, 4.1 doesn't sound like much but I'm blaming some of that slump with the OL last year for much of the offense's troubles. Let's hope Zeke shines in 2018. With luck and better backups our pass protection should pick up to boost Dak's performance as well. ~Keeping fingers crossed~

What? Lol. Again, Zeke led the league in rushing yards before his suspension! If Dak led the league in yards or tds by week 6 I’d be ecstatic

What does rushing yds have to do with his ypc for the ENTIRE season? I am talking about a guy with his size, strength, speed averaging only 4.1 ypc. That is pathetic.

When was this? Let’s talk facts
Go look at the facts. Dak was scoring TDs right up there with Watson and Wentz. Folks like to bash on Dak but facts are he was on pace with the league leaders for almost half the season. Tyron got hurt and Zeke got suspended and his stats went down. Mainly due to the coaching staff not being able to make adjustments

Jerry is Dug In on Dak for better or worse.

It’s really not that bad when you consider we’re handicapped in front office and coaching staff too. Cowboys are like the special Olympics of the NFL.
