Texans sign Mathieu

But---we are like the Steelers!

Completely pathetic that they actually think for one second that they are on an equal ground with that franchise the way things stand right now.

They moved on, if not with free agents, they recognized Haley was a problem. Moved on.

There was change.

We seem to think as long as we have continuity, things just might break well for us. One day.

Sad, sick and pathetic.
That’s the word!

Don't try to tell me he didn't want to come to Dallas because they don't win. He went to the friggin Texans.

Texans will be a playoff team next year in that **** division

Eagles will win the nfc east while we’ll be fighting for a 6 seed

What I would love is for one of the dyed in the wool homer apologists for this inept front office to come in this thread, right now and try to intellectually explain why this franchise could not compete with that contract.

The Texans, on paper, should be damn good. Like Super Bowl contenders.

For some reason though I think they'll be disappointing. Like 8-8.

My apologies good sir.

What I meant to say was, “30 teams made moves and gave a crap and ATTEMPTED to improve. While our guys are on vacation”
Well, FA isn’t over yet. There are some real good players out there. Dallas has chosen to build via the draft and have a young team. They’ve been winning. Just need a full season from the key players this year and who knows what could happen.

Just to put it in perspective:

Seven million is basically what Scandrick and Hanna earned combined.

And Jason Witten. Right at $6.9.

If I hadn't made so many great friendships on these boards over the years I would curse the day I became a fan of this team.

Dallas FO is open M-F 8am-5pm. Sorry guys everybody was off enjoying their weekend. Come Monday, Stephen and Co. will roll up their sleeves an sign a journeyman LB for vet min.
