He had a pretty good year in 2016. In 2016 he had 70 tackles, 1 fumble recovery, 1 int, and 5 passes defensed. I see him as a potential back up that could come in and play if we have an injury. Right now we really only have 3 LBers with any real experience so we just need to add people at that position and any LBer with half a pedigree is going for $8 to $9 million a year. The draft has some good LBers that we can probably get in the 2nd or 3rd round. I have no problem with this signing.
