Also, how many top 10 rookie QBs (because that is who usually end up starting as rookies) went to a team with the best running back in the league , best O Line in the league , and a run first team?

Can you list them? I'll wait....

This is stupid too. The vast majority of rookie QBs are not ready to take game snaps as rookies. Dak had that pretenatural ability from day one, which is why he had the season that he did.

Jared Goff stepped into a good team as a Rookie in the same year Dak did. How did that turn out? I'll wait...

Probably because you make iditotic posts like "Dak was almost benched last year' that you can't back up.

Weren't you around when it happened?

I remember he played like crap his rookie year (against the Giants) and followed it up with pretty mediocre outings and people began to say that he should be benched.

Did you forget?

Goff was picked number one overall. I doubt the Rams were a good team. Name me one pro bowl player (besides Gurley) from their offense. Compare that to Ptescott's team.

And Dak only started because we had no other choice. It is widely known that the coaches limited the playbook and tried to hide him. Also, if Prescott was already "good enough to start" why is he still working on his mechanics and having accuracy issues going into his third year?

Stop drinking the koolaid bro.

That is probably a good paying job. Did the reporter ask Garrett that question? Does anyone know of an article where he was asked that question and he answered that he did not? Somehow you guys are making an argument that Garrett does not think he needs to improve because he said that a player does. What kind of logic is that?

If you don't think Jason Garrett has deflected blame for years here (Coordinators and Players the same) I don't know what to say. If you can't see the irony in a comment like that from Garrett, I feel sorry for you.

Who said that? The french fry cooks on the website you came from?

Dak Prescott was national news for the fact he could step into a starting role from day one. That isn't Koolaid, that is water being wet.

Well, Goff did learn that the sun rises in the east during his rookie year. He was absolutely amazed at that fact, asking his teammates if they were aware thinking they would be equally impressed with that nugget of information.

Don't feel sorry for me. I am just fine. I don't need your pity! Never said he had not deflected blame but you guys are just looking for something to complain about!

And it is not in this article!

This actually isn’t true at all though. The week following the giants was against Tampa bay.

He was 32 of 36 for 279 yards. No interceptions. Plus a rushing touchdown.

The next week was against Detroit. He was 15 of 20 for 212 yards and 3 touchdowns.

The following week was the meaningless game against the eagles. The last of the season.

I agree on the Raiders and Seahawks games, his pick six againt Seattle is probably the worst pass he has ever thrown. But we still win that game if Dez doesn't fumble, same for the Rams game with Switzer's fumble - and Dak had a QBR of 94 in that game. The Philly game was meaningless and played in below freezing weather, Dak had a QBR of 85 and Nick Foles was much worse.

You are basically listing two games out of 32 starts. He definitely had issues last year and a Sophomore Slump, but so did Drew Brees.
He also had a stretch of 7 games where he threw 5 TDs. FIVE! In. Seven. Games. Let that sink in and tell anyone with a straight face that that is NFL level QB play.

I haven't given up on Dak Prescott. But if he isn't significantly better this year than last, it's time to relegate him to a back up and go a find a real QB. It's that simple.
