Rod coaching up Florida Gators

It would not surprise me in the least if the Cowboys take Taven Bryan in the first round.

I have Taven Bryan rated ahead of both Vea and Payne. My issue with him is that I don't think he's a good fit, being that the Cowboys already have Irving and Collins to play the 3-tech. I don't think Bryan is a good fit for the 1-tech position. He's simply too small. But I really, really like him as a player.

By the way, I don't think it is out of the realm of possibility that Payne drops to the middle of the 2nd round, much like A'Shawn Robinson dropped last year. A lot of people thought Robinson was a top 15 pick, and he dropped all the way to #46.

They definitely don't need a lite a-- at the 1 tech under 300 pounds, tired of these high school running backs gashing us to death. Get some beef in there that can take on 2 and free the LB up, ask the Ravens soon to be HOA Ray how that work for him.

Rice and Sapp would have been hall of famers if you were coaching them. Hard to put my faith in a coach that went 0-16
I might be wrong but i think sapp was playing for the buccaneers before rod became their d - line coach. I don' think rod had any input on Tampa's decision to draft sapp

I like Bryan. As one draftnik said - he rushes in there with no idea what he's doing, and he's still beating people. He's the kind of player that a guy like Marinelli could take a long ways.

I'd be fine with him at #19. No, we don't need another 3 tech, but ask the Eagles if you can have too many good pass rushers.

I wouldn't even say that he was a good position coach with 2 hall of Famers in his position group.
who besides Sapp? I don't have Simeon Rice in the hall. definately not Spires, or Booger McFarland. No one on that Bears line comes close and Harris never lived up to rhe hype until Marinate got there.

A'Shawn Robinson was 2016, not last year.

The Cowboys had him rated as a 2nd rounder.

Is that Granpa Joe from Willy Wonka or Marinelli? Dude can hardly walk right lol.

What's the report on Taven Bryan, he looks like a pretty fluid athlete to me but I've never seen him play.

that's all I heard too. Havent really seen him much. But have heard he's a powerful guy..quick twitch tackle...and compact in his movements. I would think he's available at pick 50 in round 2. I wouldn't dare reach for him at 19.

Crawford aint getting any better man lol...Rod is good but make a player something he isn't.

Gotcha. I was being very sarcastic there. I think Crawford is terrible. Nothing can be done about that one. Still perplexed by the decision to make him a DE. Guy is a straight line rusher with zero speed or flexibility. Gets stood up by tackles consistently. Happy Easter.
