Done with Dez

Perkins was the NFL rookie of the year.

3 time All Pro
6 time Pro Bowl

He was the Cowboys all time leading rusher when he was added to the ring of honor.

Merideth was a 3 time Pro Bowler and 1 time second team All Pro.

Merideth was loved in Dallas and went on to a successful announcing career which may or may not have contributed to him going in.
How many rings do they have? And Meredith was a 3 time Pro Bowler and 1 Time all Pro? Wow....That's exactly what Dez's credentials are except he also has franchise leader in passing touchdowns under his resume too. Meredith is not in the ring of honor because of his announcing. He's in there because of what he did as a Cowboy.

Hate away at the ROH members all you want. The player has no place next to any of them.

Have an event listener already authed with your credentials, anytime there's a new post with "Dez" in it, run a POST command with body "Dez Sucks".

Ha ha ha
I also want people to wake up to the Zone front page being all threads to with various ways of saying Dez Sucks. I'll just run that one once per day.

Who am I kidding...I run it multiple times per day....

If Romo gets in Ring for all time leading Cowboy passer then Dez will with all time leading Cowboy TD leader who passed Bob Hayes.

And if Dez continues his career pace on another team he will most likely some day be considered for HOF. He’s defintely that level of talent if he can stay healthy.

Career stats are not just about a few good years it’s about an accumulation.

As usual I see some fans hating on a player once they’re no longer with the team. Sounds a little over the top homeristic to me.

We have been hoodwinked.....again.....Now the spindoctering.

Pay attention. 3 good seasons out of 8 and one team record isn't a ROH shoe in.

Of course Dez career numbers are worthy of the Ring . Especially when you consider they are greater than 2 other WR in Ring. And Dez accumulated it in less years.

Shouldn't everyone be done with Dez since he's no longer on the team?

Are we done with Roger Staubach , Troy Aikman, Emmitt Smith, Drew Pearson. Etc?

Yea, they haven't played in years. Don't see any making a comeback.

Point was, he's gone. You can dislike how they did it, but some just need to move on like the OP stated.
imo Can obviously still talk about him in terms of ROH and how important he was for the team, a la with Tony.

By Dez's own admission, he "wouldn't have had his heart in it" if a pay cut had taken place.

That, in itself, speaks volumes in terms of indicating the degree of his devotion to the team.
