Witten insulted by Dez' comments?

The difference is pretty simple Witten is a class act, HOFer, team leader. Dez Bryant is a thug. Before some of you get mad, I know they had different upbringings and Dez was probably subject to things no child should see. My issue is that he has been a professional football player for 8 years with tremendous resources at his disposal. Yet, he is still the same immature, caustic guy. He hasn't changed a bit and his actions after the release show it. Ty Smith had his challenges - look how he has handled it. Could not be happier Dez is gone. The guy never evolved.

What do you mean by thug?

Witten was probably insulted in having to baby sit a grown man.. that's the only thing he was insulted by.

Two things at work here...

1) Dez, true to form, had an in-the-moment emotional reaction to being released.

2) His former teammates, who know Dez and his personality better than do any outsiders, don’t seem overly concerned.

Other than the media trying to manufacture a controversy, which they can then flog ad nauseum, I’m guessing Dez’s rant will soon fade away.

According to google & myself sued means institute legal proceedings against (a person or institution), typically for redress. According to google & myself redress means remedy or set right (an undesirable or unfair situation).

So being sued does NOT make someone a criminal. Sorry & Thanks:thumbup:

Yep, a lawsuit is a civil matter, not criminal, and being sued doesn't necessarily mean the defendant is guilty. Nevertheless, trashing someone's house could be considered criminal if the police chose to pursue it. I imagine in a case like that, between a renter and landlord, the police prefer to stay out of it though and let the parties deal with it as a financial matter.

I really believe that the raw emotion Dez was feeling soon after his release and subsequent Slater interview led to him laying blame wherever he could. Coach's, captains, The Star staff... whomever. Dez had to blame someone. It came down to him against the world.

Nobody should be surprised by his reactions.

I know I wasn't.

What im saying is that a strong culture takes care of things in the locker room we have a soft country club atmosphere in Dallas. Dez wouldnt be a problem in NE, pitts, or Baltimore. The players keep players in line.

Chandler Jones, Martavious Bryant, and Ray Rice say hello.

Not Jones and Bryant. They were at odds with the coaches.

Chandler Jones is the one that showed up naked in the police station right? I could be wrong.

When i say lockrer room culture im talking about controlling strong personalities.

Oh no a snowflake is hurt. Fill in the blank. Dez is not someone you want dating your sister.

If I had a sister I would not mind it. Fill in the blank. Why wouldn’t you want Dez dating your sister?

Funny how we've gone full circle and another group of WR's have come to the same conclusion and Garrett just can't take the criticism.
Even Romo was always having to rubberband this archaic offense together by any means possible:laugh:
