No. It’s Daks job. Now if we were 8 games into the season and it was apparent he was stinking it up and the FO knee it then yes I could see them doing 2 things.

1 - Putting in Rush.
2 - Calling Johnny footballs agent.

if dallas was say 3-5 and Dak is avg 200 yards a game and still missing receivers, or not helping the receivers get YAC I would say, Yes. It is not like Dallas spent a high 1st rounder on him and needs to justify him continuing to play. That is one of the benefits of trying to develop a young QB in the later rounds that show promise, if they fail to progress you do not have ton tied up in them draft pick wise.

Not a chance. One thing is certain, they are slow to admit mistakes. I don’t think Rush will be a better QB than Dak this year but if by some chance it happened, I wouldn’t be totally shocked either.

No. The minute they decided to keep Romo on the bench they hitched their wagon to Dak’s success of failure. He will have this year for sure to silence his critics and prove his supporters right. We will know much more come the end of this year for sure on whether Dak is truly the future or if they will start looking elsewhere.

Hope it’s the former.
