Tapper will beat out Taco

D.Law, Taco, Ealy........strike me as Left side DE's

R.Gregory and Tapper R-DE's..............can any and all flip flop sure but.......

Anyone know what Taco looks like after the offseason? Remember when Dlaw came back after an offseason in the weight room?

Taco has the frame and reminds me a lot of Justin Tuck. Please God let that happen. :)

He's more likely to get cut than he is to beat out Taco. I'm rooting for Tapper but I don't know what you guys have seen from him to know what he is or could be.
He's talented. If he's healthy he isn't going anywhere. It's not even a debate imo

It appears that some have forgotten or don't understand why we drafted Taco. He has a nice high ceiling, but was raw coming in, which is why he was even available. We were lucky to get someone of his talent at the end of the first round. However, it was always going to be at least a year until he paid dividends. I don't know if people forgot, or if they just don't understand the NFL and prospects coming in.

Heckfire, I didn't even know Tapper was still on the team. Bye, Taps, it was nice knowing ya, no hard feelings whatsoever!!!!

Whats going to happen if Tapper beats out Soggy Taco? I think if Tapper stays healthy this is going to be a breakout year for him.

Isn’t going to happen. Taco really found his rhythm in the second half of the season. But Tapper having a great year isn’t a bad thing. He’ll see playing time this year no matter what in the rotation.

I recall Tapper playing an actual football game many moons ago in the annual Red River rivalry against Texas in the Cotton Bowl.

Yeah? Well I heard he would beat out a lot of guys since he was drafted. How about Tapper get off of the crapper, and get on the field so I can see what I’m working with here?

Considering Tapper's track record so far, it seems reasonable to expect more unavailability. In lieu of that, I'd say "surprise me." ;)

There types of threads are good for figuring out what players are not liked by a person.

In short, Tapper's play has zero bearing on what happens with Charlton. If Tapper manages to stay healthy or play well then he pushes off the guy at the bottom of the depth chart ie Ealy or Neal.

And calling Taco soft is a poor nickname. Taco wrecks Tappers performance having actually finished a season and improving markedly over the course of it. If Taco continues to get stronger --and reports are he is already well on his way-- and builds on the handwork he started to catch on with then he could end up where DLaw was faster assuming he stays healthy. He has the size to play the position sturdily.
