Tapper will beat out Taco

Tapper lost his roster spot the moment they signed Kony Ealy, he just doesn't know it yet.

I don't get all the hate for Taco either, he was picked at #29 and they knew he was a bit of a project. I am looking forward to seeing his progress in year 2.

I'm sort of whistling past the graveyard wondering if Taco could be a camp cut. This board would melt down. Epic.

the exit of Tapper....what do you mean what?

Taco will start at DE.

If this happens Taco will have some new nicknames:

Soft Taco
On the street Taco
pink Taco....

Im an Ou fan too but until Tapper can REMAIN healthy....he aint beatin out anybody.
Taco is here.
Taco is healthy.
Put him in coach....he's ready.

tired of "if's" and waiting.
PLAY......lets go Tapper..tic,tic,tic.

atleast when Taco got more snaps he DID SOMETHING.

Still see Crawford starting at RDE in the base formation to start the year.

Just hoping for either Tapper or Taco to be that "stud" RDE. Think Tapper has a hotter seat than Taco though. Back to back IR'd seasons and being a mid round pick, his leash may not be as long as it was year 1 or 2.

Wonder if they draft a sleeper or convince them to take a nice payment to come to camp. Duke Ejiofor, Wake Forest comes to mind but he'll be drafted mid round to lower. He was a sleeper but the cat is out of the bag on him.
Three 6th round picks and a 7th would allow the Cowboys to have him "come on down" to Dallas.

Taco was playing well by the end of the year. Cutting a raw kid w/ excellent potential after one learning year would be stupid beyond stupid. What's more likely is that Taco starts showing more and more flashes and ends the season as a solid player w/ 8 sacks.

You can't be serious...ealy is a replacement for mayowa...he could not beat tapper in any measurable skill...tapper is probably our biggest 4.5 guy...if he stays healthy he starts and turns the linebackers into beasts cause he draws double teams...dude is a mismatch
So Lawrence will draw doubles, Tapper can draw doubles, if all that is true the DT tackles better have 10 sacks each because they will be 1 on 1 with a lineman and/or RB

They probably won't be healthy unicorns though...
Yeah, but they've asked Chaz to join, so between the 3 of them they'll have one healthy leg, an arm w/o contusions, and a lock of hair!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If Tapper is actually healthy, I think he could be the comeback player of the year. I know they will give Taco the opportunity to win the spot because of his draft status. But if Taco doesn't play significantly better than he did last year it won't take a lot for Tapper to outplay him.

To be comeback don't you have to doe something than sit at home for most of his 1st two years. It would be one thing if he was 10-12 sack guy got hurt and comes back but he is a 2 tackle 1 sack guy...

Whats going to happen if Tapper beats out Soggy Taco? I think if Tapper stays healthy this is going to be a breakout year for him.
How's that? He has never been broken in- broken up maybe but never broken in.

Tapper can't stay healthy. Too bad because he's got lots of potential. He's the new Matt Johnson.

Taco got better, but he's got a ways to go to be the starter, who knows, he might have gotten as good has he can get...
