Never claimed otherwise. Was just stating for cap purposes it would have been nice to know to avoid the dead money, even being small. Teams and players don't owe each other anything.

Funny how much Dak ruined this team. He got Romo , Dez cut and Witten knows he’s never going to win anything with Dak. If the cowboys give Dak a long term deal it will set our team back 5 years

If nothing else then Dak made it possible for the Cowboys to take out the trash! I thank Dak for that! Witten and Romo were together for 9 seasons.. 4 playoff appearances, 2 playoff wins. I’m sorry if I’m not disappointed in seeing them depart!
