Eagles fans to change Dallas Goedert's name

Dallas Goedert is already excited to play in front of the Philadelphia Eagles faithful, but he's not going to change his name because of the football team he was named after. Goedert's first name, Dallas, was named after his parents...who were fans of the Dallas Cowboys.

Goedert plays for the Eagles now and he's not going to change his name, no matter how bad the fans want him to.

"My Twitter has been blowing up, and I think there are a few 'Go Fund Mes' to change my name from Dallas to Philly," Goedert laughed. "So we're going to have a little bit of trouble with that, but hopefully I can make enough plays that they'll get over it."

Its funny when people consider using a 5th round pick to make sure you get the guy you want. Gisicki and Goedert were always on Eagles board. They lost 2 really good TE this year . Doug loves to run 1 2 and 1 3 . We picked up Rich Rodgers as FA who would be a more blocking TE. Celek will be missed leadership and blocking.

I think Witten really threw a monkey wrench into the plans if they cant keep him. I still dont know why dallas is not using more 1 2 and 2 1 personnel. Hell with how Good zeke is and Daks legs 1 3 behind Cowboys Oline would be crazy. It would also suite Dak better with quick strikes imo
